Emily:
I pulled on some shorts and a baseball half-sleeve tee since we were in a drought, and never seemed to get any rain.

Alison came behind me and wrapped her arms around me, hugging me tight. I smiled and met her lips for a short kiss.

"I hate going to school, but I love everybody seeing us together." I told her, turning around and slinging my arms around her neck.

"Me too." She pecked my lips again and the familiar shiver ran through my body, "now let me change."

"No." I pulled her closer and tucked her hair behind her ear.

"Yes." She closed her eyes involuntarily and I kissed her forehead and then her nose and finally her lips.

"Okay." I pushed her off me and motioned to my drawers. She just shook her head, but had a playful smile on her face. She ended up wearing some jean shorts and a white collared shirt.

"Let's go." I grabbed her hand, but then realizing my mom was home, dropped it and grabbed my keys, "bye mom." I said in my usual way of greeting.

"See you kids later! You're making dinner for yourselves."

Oh great, more teasing from Alison that would totally kill me. Alison seemed to know what I was thinking and smiled smugly at me.

We pulled up to school and I was filled with the usual dread of going to class and getting homework.

"Hey Alison! Want to come to a party tomorrow?" Noel asked as we walked onto campus.

Alison looked at me and I nodded, a party would be fun.

"Yeah, sure. Your place?" Alison replied casually, interlacing our fingers.

"Yeah, you can bring your girl." Noel said, I noticed a little hurt in his voice, but I brushed it away.

"Oh trust me, I don't go anywhere without her." Alison smiled shyly at me, causing me to blush.

"Save it for the party ladies." Noel shook his head, chuckling.

"Oh, don't invite Ben." Alison called out and I smiled gratefully at her. I wouldn't want a repeat of what happened last time.

"Trust me, I won't. He's such a lamo at parties." Noel waved us off.

"Yeah, that's why we don't want him there." Alison replied rolling her eyes.

"You're cute when you're protective." I wrinkled my nose at her.

"Emily please, I'm always cute." She flicked her hair over her shoulders.

"Yeah, of course. Whatever you say." I replied sarcastically.

"Hey, watch it. I get you alone tonight." Alison placed her hips against mine, whispering in my ear. I shivered at her touch and just nodded weakly.

"Actually, I have practice and I have a study session, so I don't think that you can have me tonight." I easily lied, but Alison studied my face.

"Mhm, well, I guess I'll have to go to the study session with you and make sure that nobody tries to flirt with you." She replied, knowing she had caught me.

"Ugh, just don't make me wait too long tonight." I begged and Alison just laughed.

"It all depends on you, honey." She winked and held my hand as we walked to class.

Yep, I was in for it tonight.

"I'll see you after practice." I kissed Alison on the lips before heading to the locker rooms.

"No way, I'm not letting pigskin touch you. I'm staying." She said adamantly and followed me into the locker room.
