I woke up the next morning to Scott beside me. I sat up immediately but Scott placed his hand on my shoulder. Not only that, but I was breathing heavily as I feared that Kirstin had died in the middle of the night.

Scott: Calm down. She's okay. I came to wake you up before I took Kirstin to the hospital. Mitch is going to stay till you can walk okay?

Me: Okay Scott.

My nerves settled down slightly as I heard what he was doing in my room. He looked away then took a deep breath before looking back at me.

Scott: Thank you so much for allowing us to stay and helping me relax. I am so sorry that we are leaving like this. Don't worry I will text Mitch how Kirstin is doing. Kevin and Matt are going with me. You rest okay.

Me: Okay Scott. Thank you for all you have done for me.

Scott: You're welcome Kailyn. I hope we can see each other again. I will not forget what you have done for this band.

He smiled at me before pulling me into a hug and holding me close. I inhaled his scent and remained still as I didn't want him to leave. After several moments he let me go then stood up. I watched with sadness creeping into my body as he walked out of the room.

Scott: Goodbye Kailyn.

He smiled at me then walked to get Kirstin. Mitch came and allowed me to watch them drive away. I leaned into Mitch, happy to have him. Mitch gently picked me up and carried me to the couch. I leaned against Malone as we watched another movie. I fell asleep during the movie. I woke up when I heard thunder. I sat straight up and looked out the window. Mitch walked over to me and rubbed my back.

Mitch: It's okay. It's just a thunderstorm.

Malone: Kailyn you need to calm down. Just calm down and rest. I got you.

She held me close, and I calmed down but at that moment my phone went off with a weather alert. Malone grabbed my phone then read it.

Malone: We are under a severe thunderstorm watch. Expect hail and damaging force winds. Prepare for a possible tornado.

Me: Oh no.

I shrunk down before sliding off of the couch. Mitch looked slightly confused. He looked at Malone wanting an answer to this reaction. Malone caught on then got me back on the couch before explaining the situation more than what you could see. The reason why I was so scared about thunderstorms is because of a traumatic experience a couple of years ago. It was a bright sunny day, but it started to cloud up. I was sitting at a restaurant eating supper with some friends when the tornado siren went off. It scared me so much that it caused me to lose my appetite. Then one night I was visiting a friend that lives over in Indiana. I had just gotten settled down when the fan; the message board, that lights up; and the clock, that also lights up turned off. The room grew dark and quiet as I fumbled for a flashlight. I found one and got up. I grab the pillow and a blanket before walking downstairs. For some reason, me and another one of my friends walked onto the front porch. There was this sound, almost like a bunch of trees cracking. And we both thought we saw the silhouette of the tornado going across on the other side of the street. Luckily we didn't get any damage, but my one friend came out and said that her stuff on the back deck was flying around. So the three of us rushed out to help secure everything. Then she told us that we should get to the basement. After several moments the storm subsided and the power came back on. After those two traumatizing experiences, I have been terrified about thunderstorms. Malone explained all of that to Mitch as she tried to calm me down. I didn't have a basement so if a tornado did come we would have to find somewhere else to stay till it passed.

Mitch: I understand now. It's okay. I will help you get where you will be safe I promise.

The last two words of his statement echoed in my head as I settled down in between the two people. We chatted about several things including my move to Disney. I had settled down enough to make a couple of jokes and before long the thunderstorm dissipated. I sighed with relief as sunlight filled the room. What a crazy week. It seemed like a roller coaster. It started with Pentatonix showing up at the perfect time requesting a place to stay, then I received a strange phone call from my best friend. Once at our destination I slipped on ice injuring my ankle. Then at supper, I found out that Malone had moved closer to me. Monday night ended on a weird note after I overheard Kirstin Maldonado and Scott Hoying talking. Tuesday started as a normal day, but by Tuesday night I was in severe pain and struggling with thoughts about the night before. I had overheard another conversation between Kirstin and Scott. Wednesday was a normal game day that didn't have much weirdness except for the run-in with Samantha Peterson. And while I was sleeping I had a nightmare that turned out to be something that sorta happened. It woke me up early Wednesday morning. During the night I had another nightmare, but it was different from the first one. I was woken up by Scott Hoying. He told me what had happened. Long story short, someone had gotten really upset at a simple request and almost killed Kirstin Maldonado for no good reason. Thursday was the day when everything went downhill. The power went out, then Kirstin collapsed. Friday was my birthday, but Malone was the only one who knew unless the Krispy Kreme was supposed to be for my birthday, and no one told me that was the reason. And today was a simple day. Kirstin is on her way to the hospital with Scott Hoying, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee. Mitch Grassi is staying till I can walk. I feel pretty happy despite the concern and pain. I was ready for a long recovery and rest period. March was on its way, and soon I would be close to the Magic of Disney.
