TW// Negative language involving weight/body

Friday came and Technoblade was not pleased with Drista. He'd get over it, but he was very upset that she wouldn't help him out.

Phil had just given out the medications for the day, and it was almost time to go. "Come on mate, it'll be over before you know it. You're just getting a couple tests."

Technoblade didn't even speak to Phil, he just sat and kept giving him unimpressed glares until they had to leave. Leaving Drista alone.

Phil had given Drista a stern warning prior on Techno's behalf. She agreed to stay there and behave.

While they were gone, Drista was on a call with Ben.

"Yeah, he's not gonna take us tomorrow. Phil probably won't be taking us either...so got any backup plans?" Drista asked.

"Ah damn, we really need to get our licenses." Ben tried to come up with another way.

"I actually started the process but..I don't think I'll ever actually start driving. I'd probably hit someone." Drista looked down at her wrist.

"Nah...I might have a friend free tomorrow. You cool with going with someone else?" Ben was trying to stay on her good side.

"Uh...who's this friend, do I know them?" Drista became uneasy.

"Mindy, you might know her."

"...Mindy? Like... MINDY from school? Mindy with the black hair and dead cold stare?" Drista was in denial.

"Yeah?"

"No, she literally made a death threat towards me." Drista didn't want any trouble.

"Mindy? Damn that's crazy. She's not capable of killing a fly. She's all bark and no bite, likes seeming cool and edgy." Ben tried to convince her.

"That's good to know, but I'm not getting in a car with Mindy." Drista completely refused.

"Okay...let me think." Ben tried to figure out someone else. "Alice would probably take us, but she'll definitely demand gas money."

"Who's Alice?"

"She goes to our school. Me and her are cool, but we don't talk much." Ben hoped Drista would agree, and she did.

"Okay...as long as she's friendly and won't hate crime me. I'm trusting you." Drista's trust in Ben was fragile like a toothpick.

"She seems chill to me...I'll text her now and see what she says. I'll pay the gas money." Ben offered.

Drista couldn't help but appreciate it. "Thanks Ben, that's very gentlemen like of you."

"Oh kiss my ass, I just know you're broke." He said jokingly.

Drista wasn't used to him joking with her, so she almost took offense. "Hey, watch it. I probably would have a job if I didn't have so much bullshit going on."

"Fair...just texted Alice..." Ben yawned. "I'm gonna take a nap, call you back in like an hour.

"Okay sure, night night." Drista hung up and set her phone aside.

Two hours later Ben called back. Drista had only been watching TV, so she answered pretty quick. "Hey bitch Boy, what's up?"

"Fuck off, I got us a ride." Ben told her with an exhausted tone. "Alice will take us, but she wants $50 and a pack of cigarettes."

"Of course she does...can you take care of that?" Drista definitely wasn't giving any of her money she had saved to a stranger. She definitely wasn't lying her way into buying cigarettes again either.
