TW// Mentions of suicide
The next morning Dream sat at the kitchen table with his laptop open. He was seemingly really focused on something.
"What are you doing?" George asked as he joined him in the kitchen.
"Planning a Disneyland trip...did you sleep good last night?" Dream glanced up at George.
"Not really...all this paranormal and death stuff is making me restless." George admitted and took a seat.
"Yeah, I get it. I haven't had a good night's sleep since Drista moved in..." Dream took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He was actively teetering on the brim of pure hopelessness. There was no second thoughts in his mind. He was certain he was going to lose his sister.
"So...what are your thoughts about last night?" George opened the spiritual discussion causally.
"I... I don't know. Drista has accomplished some amazingly impossible things but...I think she could of been fucking with us last night." Dream shrugged it off, looking at hotel prices near Disney.
"I don't see how she could of. It happened in front of our eyes...I get skeptical too but... whatever that was last night, that messed me up. I feel like my entire life was changed." George clearly believed in what happened. He believed that Sapnap was somehow communicating with them from beyond.
"Look, I don't want to talk about it." Dream set his limits. "It brought me some peace, fake or not. I just want to move on from it."
George nodded slowly. "Alright...just know that no matter what happens, I'll be here."
"You made a promise, didn't you?" Dream forced a smile.
"Yeah and I'm not trying to be haunted by your sibling." George laughed. Things fell peacefully quiet, a little too quiet for both the men.
"I'm going to go check on Drista, see if they are awake." Dream stood up and turned his laptop towards George. "Can you do some research on the best things to do at Disney?"
"Sure." George shrugged.
Dream went to his sister's room, feeling a wave of powerful energy. It was the same feeling one would experience from Christmas eve. Happiness, peace, perhaps serenity.
Dream knocked, hearing Drista talking. Then the talking stopped and they opened the door.
"What?" Drista peaked out.
"Who are you talking to?" Dream tilted his head.
"You won't believe me." Drista huffed truthfully.
"Is it Sapnap again?" Dream had a hint of sarcasm in his tone.
"I think so...want to come in?" Drista looked behind themself.
"Okay?" Dream walked in the room with Drista. He was only mildly surprised when he saw that she had created a makeshift ouija board on a piece of paper. This makeshift ouija board was on the middle of the floor. Beside it was two cosmetic mirrors, standing directly across from each other.
"What in the ghost busters are you doing up here..." Dream couldn't help but laugh. This all seemed ridiculous. Like a child's game of pretend.
Drista sat on the floor. "Say all you want, it seems to be working. It's crazy the amount of things he's said. The communication is so strong with the mirrors, look." Drista looked around for a notebook, then handed it to Dream. "I documented the conversation. I think he left when you knocked, he knew, you'd be freaked out."
Dream read through the notes, trying to take it seriously for Drista's sake. "This is...really interesting, but..."
