Chapter 5

At 3 am, Tony decided that it was the right time waking you up to help him with his suit. you liked tinkering with him but stupid Tony was the kind of person who did not know when to ask for help.

"Just because you can't sleep doesn't mean anyone can't too," you grumbled at him when he handed you your usual tea that he saved in the lab since you hate coffee.

"you aren't sleep, that's why i called you,"

you rolled your eyes at him, "I need to hack Jarvis so he doesn't invade my privacy again."

"if I may have a say Miss Y/N, it was Mr. Stark who asked me to wake you, so to prevent him from doing that again is to put him to sleep with your spell next time," Jarvis said innocently that made you laugh. Tony grumbled about him being a traitor and breaking his old man's heart.

"I'll remember that next time. So Manchild, tell me what do you want?,"

Tony rolled his eyes at the nickname and proceeded to tell you to help him with his project, which was where you excelled in, nano tech.

"No offense Tones but nano tech is more complicated than you think. Learning atoms is more head wrenching than anything. and you want me to make your suit in nano tech?. Are you out of your mind? How much coffee did you drink? I need to call Pepper," when you start to get up Tony hold your shoulder firmly so you stay sitting.

"You made one for Bruce, and not me! i want one too!," he whined at you pathetically.

you rolled your eyes, this was why he was a Manchild, "It's a pants! I hate to see him looking around for pants when he comes back from Hulk to Bruce, so I made one that would automatically change its size according to the user. And yeah, it can change into a suit if he wants," you whispered in the last sentence.

"It was a whole suit that was in nano tech. and don't you think i don't know that you are planning to change Capsicle shield into nano tech. and Clint's bow!,"

"Steve refused! He said he likes it in its original form."

he rolled his eyes, "that's why you made a nano tech suit for him and Triple Imposter. they said you don't play favoritism, but here i am not having a nano tech suit on my own," he crossed his arm and looked at you with his puppy eyes and he annoyingly pulled out whenever he wanted something from Pepper. and now you became the victim of it too. Pepper could say no, and you still need to learn how to, especially to people like Tony who liked to demand things, just because he could.

"Damn it. Yours are the hardest to make!," you sighed, "Fine. but you need to fulfill things for me,"

In the morning you fell back to your routine, like cooking breakfast and making offerings for Loki. when suddenly the said God appeared in the kitchen watching you. you almost shot him out of reflex but luckily you didn't.

"You scared me!," he laughed when he saw your expresion, clearly having fun when he successfully surprised you, the typical god of mischief.

"Where's your brother?" his expression became grim at the mention of his brother. you didn't know why but you guessed it was an old brotherly rival.

"Why do you ask about him?" he almost snarled but decided not to upset you because he knew you didn't mean anything by that. you weren't interested in his brother, were you?.

"forget about it i don't care where he is," you said again. his expression softened when he caught no lie in your words so he let it go.

"Why did you come out from Stark's lab? What's the relation between the two of you?," he asked innocently, but you could see through him. He was playing with you.

"Why do you wake so early to see that?," you asked, clearly stalling and having fun annoyed him and his curiosity.

"I don't require sleep as much as... Human? Was it the right wording? but it would be nice to sleep once in a while but it wasn't really affect my health,"

you nodded in understanding. not that you understand what it felt like to not sleep. even though you also didn't need sleep like a normal person thanks to Hydra serum, you still loved sleeping so much you couldn't imagine a day without it. you would be grumpy as hell and would kill people. yes killed people not annoyed them because you most feral when sleepy.

"You don't answer my question," Loki demanded, he surely was impatient when it involved his enemy.

"First off, that's my lab. Tony likes being in there because he can steal my work anytime he thinks I make something more advanced than him. which reminded me to make another password before he moved his lab to mine, which he tried more than once. and we have a project together, or more like I have a project and he forces me to do it faster. we talked that's all,"

"I see," he looked satisfied with the answer and let it go.

you proceeded to put your offerings in front of him and pray like you used to,

When you finished your prayer you looked up and saw Loki was looking at you, wide eyes and in so much awe he couldn't utter a word, his eyes glaze before he snapped himself out of it, "That's how you looked like when people pray to you?," you unwisely teased, you knew he would feel offended or annoyed, and he might make you stub your toe later but oh well, it's worth it.

"I did not!" he raised his voice a little out of panic. And you were right, he was piqued by your teasing.

"Sure," you said innocently.

"I hate it when you do that," he grumbled at you and started eating his food. He was the God of mischief, and when you were being mischievous to him it's like things backfire.

A couple of minutes later, the team came into the kitchen and started filling their plates with food. Nat took her morning coffee first because she was scary if not woken up properly. you were just the same so you prioritize her coffee first then the other.

"Don't forget we are going out today Ptichka, and yes you must come, yes we're going home late, and no we're not bringing him,"

"Do you even know who i want to ask to come?," You smirked at her which she replied by smirking at you back.

"Of course I know. We went in an hour, get ready,"

You pouted, Nat was undebatable sometimes, and honestly you also wanted to go have fun. That was before you met the certain God of Mischief. he made you have too much fun by his presence, even though there was nothing as too much fun in your dictionary.

"Where are you going?" He asked after Nat went to eat.

"Nat decided that we have enough testosterone for the week, so we're going to spoil our estrogen and progesterone." You said to him, enjoying the face he made whenever he was confused. He would tilt his head and his face became blank as he tried hard to understand the word you were saying.

"Dearest, as much as I like talking to you, but if you keep using the words I don't understand on purpose to tease me, I will throw you out of this tower," he grumbled at you. Truly it was fun teasing him.

You giggled in delight but decided it was enough teasing in the morning, not promising you wouldn't do it again tonight, "Sorry. I thought being Allspeak would translate it for you," you said innocently.

"You and I both know that it was a lie, you just like teasing me. And while I understand all languages being Allspeak, science was not one of them," he said dryly.

"Right so, Testosterone is a hormone in the human body. But usually it's a major hormone in male body, women produce it too but on a smaller scale. And estrogen and progesterone are major hormones in the female body. Basically we have enough of boys and wanted to have Girls day to spoil our hormones,"

He nodded in understanding and playfully glared at you, "Now it wasn't so hard to do right?" He said pointing at your explanation.

You shook your head, "No, but you look cute when you're confused. I just like seeing it," you smirked at him which made him irritated but pouting in the end.

"So cute," you cooed at him. He puffed up in anger but didn't stop you from cooing at him.

He might or might not have enjoyed your teasing.
