It was lunch time and Loki was still sitting in the corner, book in hand. He looked up to check on you once in a while to see if you were still alive and well. you looked at him back in a question manner, "Should we end it here and go grab lunch?," you asked him, pulling off your eye protector.

"There's a cafeteria downstairs, it's usually only for employee but don't worry i had my own cards, i can make you one in a 5 minute, wait," true to your words you finished making his cards in 5 minutes and handed it to him, "it has the same level access like mine which is everywhere in the tower. Tony wouldn't mind as long as you don't go near his lab or anything related to that. He is sensitive about it," Loki nodded.

"But wouldn't he be angry at you?," he asked curiously.

you shrugged, Tony wouldn't mind, he knew he couldn't do anything to prevent you hacking into his things, because if you wanted you could. but you just never wanted to. He actually believed you enough to ask for advice about his company. Pepper also came to you which you didn't mind about. both offered you a position in the company which you politely refused. you didn't like that kind of commitment. and Hydra was still on the loose so you had other priority.

"Nah. he gave up stopping me after i managed to outsmart him a lot of time,"

Both you and Loki went to the elevator and you magically changed your appearance into someone else, using shield identity so now you were just a random woman using shield's uniform.

Loki raised an eyebrow at you when you catched the look quickly, "I can't be seen by the public, or my face would be known by my other potential enemy. Only Shield, Hydra and The Avengers know what I look like. Other than that it's better to be kept secret. And Hydra knew since they had me as their possession long time ago,"

"I knew about this Hydra story but not the depth of it. Would you be comfortable talking about it?," He asked softly.

You weren't sure. The full length of your physical and mental torture story didn't seem fun to tell or be heard by others. It was too vile, too scary and too sad. You were not ready, yet, "Not right now. I would tell you one day, but the scar was still fresh for me even though it was a couple of years ago. Talking about it, means I have to relive it over again. I'm not ready," you shook your head and shuddered as you remembered parts of the events.

Loki, being a mind reader, caught the glimpse of it from your mind. His jaw ticked. Rushes of anger spread to his body but he tried to remain calm for your advantage. He didn't want to make you more uncomfortable than you already were.

"No pressure dearest. Just remember that I'm here for you whenever you are ready. Remember, we are connected in a way," he was talking about the prayer you sent to him. Praying to one divine being, connected you with them in a way.

"I heard that you brought reindeer games to the cafeteria yesterday," Tony asked in the morning after he came back from a mission and helped you with the suit.

"Reindeer games?, though I do see the similarity but come on," you were amused but didn't tell him the story he was waiting for which annoyed him, "Whatever, and you made an ID card for him," he said again.

You nodded and sip your tea, "yeah i did all of that, you got a problem?,"

He shrugged, "make sure he didn't go near my lab alone," he said simply.

You rolled your eyes and put the prototype nano tech reactor in his chest, and it began expanding faster than before. And this time it successfully turned into his red and gold suit.
