MATCHING.

Five held my waist tightly, he placed his half eaten sandwich down on the counter before he picked up a newspaper,

"Hmm. Guess I missed the funeral."

"How'd you know about that?" Luther dumbly asked. I face palmed, Five was right when he said his brother's are complete imbeciles.

"What part of the future do you not understand?" Five asked with a annoyed expression, "Heart failure, huh?" Five asked, I love his voice.

"Yeah." "No." Luther and Diego spoke at the simultaneously. I stared at them at disbelief. Five sighed from next to me as his eyes were half lidded,

"Nice to see nothings changed." Five said nonchalantly, obviously fed up with the whole conversation. I felt awkward, out of place, like a sore thumb. Five put the newspaper down, walking out of the kitchen and dragging me along, I smiled softly at his presence alone.

"Uh, that's it? That's all you have to say?" Allison asked quickly, I groaned - Me, myself was fed up with this whole conversation. And frankly, I was starting to get anxious and I didn't know why. It felt like i was forgetting something important, I shrugged it off, thinking I'll remember it some other time.

My expression soon turned agitated, this is such a waste of time. I knew how serious this situation was, the apocalypse thing. We certainly did not have all the time in the world to just stand around and chat about Five's whereabouts.

"What else is there to say?" Five spoke from the entrance of the kitchen, "The circle of life." Five spoke, throwing his hand in the air that held his sandwich. We walked away, I finally let my eyes drift from Five and his siblings, looking over the interior of the house. This was certainly the biggest house I've ever seen.

Five dragged me upstairs, I walked the steps as I stared at every picture frame we passed, it was family pictures of the kids and their Father. In some pictures it looked empty as some kids were missing, I frowned.

Five finished his sandwich along the way, he didn't even bother to open the door we stood infront of, he rather blinked through it.

I shrugged off the light headache I still got from when i blinked with him, I looked at my surroundings to see we were now in a room. Five let my hand go as he made his way towards a big closet, he opened the closet door's to reveal a rack of many identical uniforms. I could feel a hint of nostalgia as I looked over them, unconsciously I came closer to his side to get a better look of these uniforms.

They looked exactly how I remembered, Five moved the uniforms on hangers around, he sighed,

"Ah, shit." he muttered as he grabbed a uniform with a aggravated look. I laughed at him before I adjusted the strap of my dress, Five looked over at me and groaned.

"It's not funny."

"Oh, come on. You look cute."

"Y/N." he said sternly as he gave me a look, he seemed so serious though he couldn't help but smile a little, I grinned at him.

He then looked away and focused on getting his clothes off, my eyes wondered around his room. Nothing out of the ordinary was in here, strangely. It was a bit anticlimactic as I thought his room would've been more interesting then this.

I heard a whoosh from behind me, I turned around instantly to see Five gone. I huffed thinking he left me here but I should've known better as he came back in less then a minute. In his hand he held a clothing hanger with a uniform identical to his, only this one was the feminine version, skirt and all included. He threw down the dress shoes in front of me as his one hand was in his pocket.

"Here. Now we can match." Five said with a fake smile, I took the hanger from his hands and scoffed playfully,

"Sweet." with no hesitation I threw off my coat. Soon I threw the straps of my dress off my shoulders, letting it gracefully fall as the dress slipped effortlessly down. Five eyes me intently as I got dressed, eventually I pulled up the long socks and groaned once I put on the dress shoes. I've always preferred Mary Janes.

I ignored Five's stare on me as I struggled with my tie, since I ever really did Five's and never have done my own before.

Five sighed as he gradually came closer, he took hold of the tie and took it out of my hands as he did it himself. He smiled in satisfaction when he was done, he then took my hand gently,

"You look beautiful, dear." Five coed. I looked down at my feet in embarrassment as I smiled widely, these teenage hormones sure made me more nervous than usual.

Five huffed a laugh before he blinked us away . . . now we were seemingly still in the house. We stood in the middle of what I assumed to be the living room, I looked over at Five to see him looking behind himself. I tracked his eyes to see what he was staring at, a portrait. And no, not just any portrait but a portrait of Five. A whole ass oil painting of the kid. I felt a smile crept on my face by the sight. How lovely.

I looked at the painting, taking in Fives features, I even payed no mind to the new set of legs that had just entered the room.

"Nice to know Dad didn't forget me." Five said, staring at his own portrait as his hand shifted form my hand to my waist. He turned around, I followed his action so now we were facing Vanya. "Read your book by the way." Five said, internally I nodded. Remembering said book and how Five used to read it to me.

Five glanced up and back at her face as if something crossed his mind, "Found it in a library that was still standing." and in great condition too! - I added internally. My face stood blank as I listened in on their conversation.

He smiled at Vanya as he gently moved his hips side to side, walking around to look at everything, while he dragged me along, of course.

"I thought it was good, all things considered."

"Yeah, definitely ballsy, giving up the family secrets." he finished, looking at me quickly. I looked back before we both simultaneously looked at Vanya again.

Vanya, she seemed to be embarrassed, "Sure that went over well." Five said, expressionless. I stared down at my feet, suddenly nothing was more interesting then the ugly school styled dress shoes I wore.

"They hate me." Vanya breathed, my eyes displayed sorrow as I looked up at her, terrible. "Oh there are worst things that can happen." Five said softly, "You mean like what happened to Ben?" I furrowed my brows as I felt sudden unidentified tension rise in the room, just before I remembered her book mentioned something about a sibling passing away. That must me Ben.

"Was it bad?" Five questioned, almost like he was hesitant to ask. She just nodded, no words needed. Five looked away and I just looked at my feet again, I wish a good after life for this Ben guy, I'm sure he was a wonderful little fellow.
