I angrily gulped down the rest of my drink, I was angry at myself.

I know I don't belong here but I told Five I'd look over his family.

"Now, there are loads of possibilities. Nuclear war, asteroids. But I'm thinking this is about the Moon. Right?" my brow quirked at his suggestion, there's always a possibility but what did I know?

I couldn't calculate any possibilities like Five could, I didn't even understand basic math.

I looked over to Diego who stood next to me behind the counter, he picked up a wine bottle as he poured me some.

"Thanks." I whispered with a polite smile.

"Dad must have sent me up there for a reason. And I was giving him daily updates on the conditions, I sent him field samples." Luther rambled, from the corner of my eye I could see Diego giving me a brief glance in disbelief of what was being said.

"So, the first thing we need to do is find research . . . Y/N can just . . . do whatever."

"Hold on. Hold the phone. We all died fighting this thing the first time around. Remember?"

Exactly, we have to act carefully, shouldn't we?

"Klaus, shockingly, has a point. What gives us a win this time?"

"Y/N. Five. Last time we didn't have them." Luther remarked though my attention was drawn towards Klaus as he started gagging, my face was written with disgust. Klaus only got up with a low groan after this.

"We weren't all together. This time, we'll have the full force of the Umbrella Academy. That's all we need."

"Right, but Y/N isn't like us . . . She's ordinary like Vanya . . . Where's Five now?" Allison spoke, I blinked a few times. What did I have to offer here? I couldn't survive or possibly stop an apocalypse! I felt my hands shake a bit as I got more and more nervous for what's about to come.

Time's running out . . .

It's fast . . . It's running past you . . . When will you fucking catch up?

"Y/N knows, ask her."

"Well, he has some plan to change the time line. He'll be back soon, I'm sure." I smiled anxiously at the group, Allison nodded at my reply.

"I'm going after Hazel amd Cha-Cha." Diego stated as he walked away,

"Diego, I wouldn't recommend doing that--"

"Right about now?"

"Hell, yeah. Three days. I'm losing light by the minute."

"Wait, Diego--"

"Look, I know you wanna avenge your friend, but we got a bigger problem here."

"She wasn't just some friend, Luther. If I'm gonna die, I need to know I killed those bastards first." Man's dedicated, what can I say?

I tried to warn him but I'd like to see this play out, revenge has always been such a beautiful concept to me.

"It's not about Dad. It's not about me." Diego continued to bicker, I raised my hand to touch my head gently as I felt an ache coming through. I looked to the ground as I started to walk out the room.

No one seemed to notice, though.

I watched my feet move up and down the stairs, seeing them pass one another as I finally got to the top. My head fumed, blocking out the indistinct chatter from beneath me.

I yanked Five's door open as I stepped inside, letting myself fall onto the bed as I just laid there in thought.

You have to do something.

Have something to fucking offer!

I groaned at myself as I sat up, a flood of determination washed over me. I grabbed my backpack as i fling it over my shoulder, walking out of the room.

Might as well get ready for this fuckin' apocalypse . . .

I rushed downstairs, being not so mindful as before of my steps causing me to almost trip a few times . . .

The cashier stared at me oddly as I let the bunches of items drop onto the counter infront of him.

"What's all this?" he asked curiously. I smiled innocently as I watched him ring me up.

"Do you even have the money to pay for all of this, young lady?"

"Oh my. Of course I do." I said, pulling a white wallet out of my backpack, I handed him the money as I stuffed the items into my backpack, skipping out of the store as I waved the man goodbye.

I sighed, stopping in my tracks as I looked inside my bag,

candy. I bought piles of candy.

I always wanted to do this as a kid, I never really ate candy all to much. I realized that I didn't really know what to do about the apocalypse, so I just went my way to do whatever.

I have to do something soon though . . .

I walked along the sidewalk before I stopped to sit at a bench, I swung my feet as I pulled out a letter I kept.

My hand traced the corners of it's envelope before I carefully slide the top open, pulling the piece of paper outside of it.

This seemed to be the most recent letter of mine, it was sent by Bruce and beautifully decorated. I didn't dare unfold it though, not yet.

Tears pricked my eyes, I looked up at the clouds and the shining sun . . . Wait . . .

That's . . . odd . . .
