"You're cute when panicked" Dabi flirted with a grin walking out of the bathroom trailing behind me.
Swiftly heading to the kitchen I grab the medkit, and the pants only to turn and crash into a warm, toned chest. "Ow, Dabi-" I cut off looking up to see him grinning down at me, his hands grabbing my hips slightly pulling me closer "What's your mom's name?" He asked, his deep voice echoing in my ears
"Kathryn why?" His grip released and I nearly wished it didn't. Shrugging he walked towards the door waving his hand in the air a bit before walking out. "Asshole" I grumbled annoyedly listening to the silence. Jumping at the sudden sound of my phone vibrating I answer it quickly smiling into the phone at my friends
"Hey bitches! Miss ya'll" I frowned heading further into the kitchen to begin cooking some eggs. "We miss you too!" They exclaimed before changing the subject quickly "So, what's the drama?" Kiana asked with a wide grin "Wellll, I went to the store and got some ice cream earlier and on the way back I saw some punks beating up that hot guy I told ya'll about" I paused hearing them let out an exaggerated gasp as if shocked.
"What happened?" Rachelle cut in through the dramatic pause. "Dabi was beat up as all hell so I took him here and patched him up" I shrugged adding the seasoning to my eggs scrambling them up a bit in doing so. "Ya'll didn't fuck?" Kiana whined causing a laugh to escape from me "No way Kiana! He's like in his mid twenties if not older" I rolled my eyes listening to her rant on about how that never stopped me from simping for older men

After that long exhausting chat with my friends I retired for the night; due to the time difference whenever we called it was either mid-afternoon over there or past ten here. Talking to them was always short lived and none of us had ideas as to how we were gonna do things.
"Jinsei wa kanarazushimo yoi kotode wa arimasen. Sonoyōni suruto warui koto ni mo narimasu (Life can't always be a good thing. It can also be a bad thing if you make it that way)" I listened to the robotic voice as I tried falling asleep; for some reason I'd get close to slumber then the image of Dabi would pop up into my head and I'd be awake again, so in order to keep my mind off him I watched some MSA and listened to my surroundings trying to fall asleep. After hours of trying I finally gave up and head down to the kitchen for some water, mom was still awake and was confused as to why I was as well "Can't sleep" I announced before she could ask; pulling open the cabinet I grab a cup and fill it with fridge water uncaring of how cold it was as it hit my teeth. "Okay, oh and Liz. Next time you bring someone over don't lock them in the bathroom with you" I could practically hear the grin in her voice as I choked on my water; witch I thought to myself sitting besides my mom on the couch quietly watching the TV flash all kinds of colors.
Being in the comfort of her warmth I rest my head on her shoulder listening to her breathing; a few hours pass by when mom speaks up
"Was it that Dabi guy you told me about?" Again I could hear her grin.
My eyes were beginning to close and the only thing I could do was let out a 'mhm' as the world slowly drifted away.

I'm sorry for all the drama and confusion going on rn.
It's  currently 12:21am here and my God the birds won't stop chirping; it's only a matter of time my children. It doesn't look too good rn but I promise Liz's birthday is coming up soon, she'll no longer be 15.
Also next chapter will have small hints of Kink in it! (Not me being excited)

Time literally flew by. The hero course was better than the hero course at my old school not to mention there was this thing called a sports festival.
Not only that but I had finally gotten mom to meet Dabi while we were at the store last week and now she seemed more like a teenage girl with a crush than my actual mom.
Yes, I was a little jealous she was spending so much time with him but honestly? I was just happy she made a friend- or lover; she never really told me. "Hey mom-" I cut off barging through her bedroom door to see her in a tight red dress that hugged her hips, hair up in a messy bun and a matching red lipstick.
A smile grows on my face as she turned to look at me awkwardly
"How do I look?" She asked running her hands along her sides seemingly tense "You look like a God." She laughs at my response, my smile never faltering. "Someone wants to get laid tonight~ you going out with Dabi?" I sang snapping my fingers lightly walking over to her closet looking through it to find a jacket for her to wear knowing it'd get cold out tonight. "Liz! First off he's just a friend and second, I'm going out with some co-worker's to a bar tonight" Stopping in my place I stare at mom in shock
"You have friends?" We share the same sarcastic smile; handing over a black leather jacket I look over her outfit, she sighs a bit concerned now seeing my puzzled expression "Something's missing" Was all I said before rushing out of her room and into mine then into my walk-in closet where I pulled out my box of hair clips; dumping the whole thing out I finally found one to complete her look, it was a moon shaped clip band, red and black with tiny crescent glitter moons that shimmered silver in the light. Quickly I rush back into mom's room and clip it on with a smile. Now, she was complete.
"Oh, speaking of, I don't want you here alone, I asked Dabi to come watch you until I got home" I froze in place, mouth dropping open at her words
"But-" I went to protest but a knock from beyond the hall was heard, she smiles winningly strolling past me and out into the living room, lazily I follow close behind with a pout; she opens the door and sure enough, Dabi was there in his casual black shirt and pants with a leather black jacket, similar to mom's.
He stares at mom for a bit looking down then up and smiles flirtatiously. "Thanks for watching Liz Dabi," She pauses turning to me with a serious gaze "Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone and don't cause a problem with Dabi, I'll be back by-" I salute and cut her off "In that outfit you'll get laid and be back by tomorrow morning!" I laugh as her face heats up a color nearly matching her dress "Promise me" She said sternly regaining her composure; rolling my eyes I promise and hand her, her purse along with a currated knife for protection just in case.
She gave me a quick kiss on the cheek, thanked Dabi again and left, car keys in hand; closing the door Dabi and I stare at one another in brutal silence taking in one anothers looks.
I had just noticed the piercings and chain necklace only adding to the hot scale. His eyes lingered on my clothes a bit too long, out of instinct I look down to realize I was in shorts and a black baggy hoodie.
Without a word he walks over to the couch and sits down, making himself right at home he flicked on the TV; I scoff and sit at the far end of the couch hiding my legs under the hoodie feeling the awkward silence creep up. It was shortly broken when Dabi spoke up
"Nice outfit, different from what you'd normally wear" It took a minute for his words to sink in. How was this any different from what I normally wore besides my uniform? "Uh- thanks? You don't look so bad yourself" His compliment was odd, naturally I'd wear baggy clothes to fit in causing people to avoid me and call me emo or some shit. "So uh- your mom, she going on a date?" Dabi asked. Okay now it was getting weird.
"No- at least I don't think so. She's going out with some co-worker's to have a few drinks and probably get laid" I shrug boredly watching the screen play all these TV shows that looked so weird compared to what I've seen back in the US.
