★Chapter 9★

Y/N POV 

I wake up, in the same tree as yesterday. I climb down and start walking to the arcade with the directions Ben gave me. 

He looks so nice now, I can't believe it. 

Right now I look a little dirty, so I think I can get changed into something new. I turn and look for a river, pond, or lake. I inhance my hearing abilities , my eyes glowing yellow. Even in the night you can see the tiger's eye, as I call it. I hear a lake up ahead. I make sure to know how to get back to it. 

I know a house near by, maybe I can find some clothes there.

I walk up to the house on the side window. I don't see anybody in there. So I slowly open the window and climb in, when I land I fall in a pile of musty smelling clothes. I pinch my nose and look around. 

A boys room. Okay, I can grab and go.

I walk around slowly and quietly in case the person in the living room hears me and catches me. I grab a plain black hoodie, gray sweatpants, and some ' underwear?'

I slowly crawl back out of the window and make my way through the woods back to the pond.

I also grabbed a bar of soap and a ' rag ' that was on the shelf next to my head.

^*^ Time Skip *^*

I make it to the arcade , it's late afternoon. So I think Ben waited for me here. I walk inside the arcade, and a few people look at few, but didn't look away and kept staring so I put my head low, head down and looked around for Ben. 

I turn on a row of, machines? Then I see them, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and some girl. I was so happy for a moment, then I remembered.

I'm the danger. 

I pull the hood on my hoodie up and try to slowly make myself unoticable, but as soon as I passed them they stopped talking. 

I got a little nervous, but I kept walking. " Hey! Are you new around here?" A voice asks, one I know to familiar. 

Dustin.

I stop in my tracks, I want to turn around and hug him tell him how much I miss him and how much I'm sorry even if they don't forgive me for the reason I did it in the first place. 

All of them.

I look up and a little distance away I see Ben. He look nervous and anxious. I smile widely. 

Right. That's who I'm here for. I fast walk , then start running towards him. 

" Ben!" I yell. He looks my way, his nervous expression, replaced with happiness. 

" Y/N!" Ben yells running up to me. He hugs me and spins around while we smile and giggle. Happy to see each other again. My hood falling off in the process to reveal my face. I look down at him and stare in his brown eyes while he stares at my E/C eyes. In a daze, he finally says. " I'm so glad I found you!" Ben says, happily. 

" Y/N?" Someone asks behind us. Ben puts me down, and I turn to see Dustin, Mike, Lucas, and that girl earlier looking at me with horrified, shocked faces, except El she looks mezmerized. In some kind of different dimension.

Shit. Ben said my name out loud and they must've heard it since they weren't that far away. 

I have a panicked looked on my face, What am I supposed to do now? 

I stop when I feel a hand in mine, I look up and see Ben. Looking at me with an understood look. He looks in my eyes, nodding telling me he understand the situation and that I'm okay.

 I nod back. 

I can't see them yet. 

It's to soon. 

" What are you doing-" I cut Mike short.

" Run Ben! Come on!" I say rushing past them.

Ben hand in mine we look at each other smiling and laughing, then we get outside and teleport far out into the wood where it would take 20 minutes on foot for them to find us.

Perfect.

" Come on , Let's go to my house." Ben says.
