I didn't want her to feel more anxious than she was already feeling.

I was right! I had known this would happen! She's having my grandchild! My teenage daughter is going to be a mother! They are just kids themselves!" Charlie groaned angrily.

"You're having a baby!" Charlie shouted, as he beamed excitedly like a kid in a candy shop.

"You're pregnant, Isn't that right Bella?" Charlie asked.

Oh no, why would he immediately jump to that conclusion? why can't two loving people who are madly in love with one another just be in each other's company all the time? I couldn't understand why anyone would come to that idea!

After all, We've been through, haven't I shown him how much I love and adore Bella? because we both knew that we were each other's soulmate. I couldn't stand not having her by my side all the time. I wanted to tell the whole world how lucky I was to have her as my wife. I could feel the intensity of Charlie's stare as he narrowed his eyes in my direction.

"You're wrong! No I'm not!" Bella responded without hesitation.

"Oh, finally thank god! That's fine then!" Charlie breathed a sigh of relief.

"If It's not true and Bella's not expecting.. then I wonder what they are hiding from me?"

"Please, forgive me for my sudden outburst." Charlie pleaded, hiding his face in his hands.

"We forgive you," Bella reassured him.

As Charlie sat back down in his chair across the room from us after calming himself down. I knew that Charlie understood that Bella had been telling the truth. I didn't even need to see it in his own thoughts to understand him. The way he listened and the loving tone in his voice whenever he spoke to Bella had summed everything up for me.

I could feel Bella's shaking form beside me and could tell that she was on the verge of panicking. Charlie and I gave Bella some space so that she could calm herself down. A few minutes later had flown by and was starting to worry that Bella hadn't wanted to reveal the news to Charlie. To be fair to her, she had never been used to extravagant events or even news like this.

Bella gazed up at me smiling and I gave her her favourite crooked smile in return.

"I would like for my own daughter to tell me whatever she's afraid to spill! or even better yet to have Edward tell me whatever this news was himself!" Charlie sighed.

"Charlie, I understand that I've done this whole thing backwards. Traditionally, I know that I should have come to you first." I responded politely.

"What does a young man like him need to do things in the traditional way?" Charlie muttered.

"I don't mean to disrespect you, but since Bella has accepted my proposal and I would also like for her to have a say in the matter." I responded.

"I don't see why this is happening? especially after Bella was left heartbroken just last September-" Charlie groaned.

"I knew that I should have had your permission first, but we would love it if we could have your blessing. We're getting married, Charlie, and I love and adore Bella more than anything in this whole entire world, and by some kind of miracle she feels the same way about me in return, as well." I continued.

"Yeah, I've never understood why she is so attached to you!" Charlie responded quietly.

"Do we have your blessing Sir?" I asked warily.

"You want my permission! and for what getting married?

They have to be pulling a prank on me! I'm still waiting for any of his family to appear and tell me "Charlie, it wasn't real." After what Bella's been through, after he had broken her heart just last September! Bella was like an emotionless zombie after the endless nights of screaming! After all the nights I had to comfort my broken daughter after he had just packed up and left!

Then not only 6 months after that, It's like nothing even happened!" Charlie shouted.

Charlie glanced once more towards us and his eyes widened as he saw my Mother's ring resting on Bella's left hand. Charlie was beginning to panic as his eyes stayed glued on the ring on Bella's finger. The first colour Charlie's face turned was completely red, then purple, and finally blue. I could see that Bella was staring worriedly at her father,

and was currently resembling the colour on her father's face. Bella began to stand up but quickly pulled her into my arms giving her hand a slight squeeze.

"Let him calm down first." I responded quietly, so that only Bella herself could hear me.
