"Partake of my free snack samples! I demand it as your ruler, the King of demons!" King yelled standing on the table holding up some trinkets that might have food in them as people walked by their stall casually while Eda relaxed with some shades on.

"Why isn't anyone paying attention to me? I'm their rightful Overlord…intellectually and such." He whined as he tossed his items as sat down.

"Yeah…hey!" Eda said and grabbed a student and sniffed them. "It reeks more of nerd than money today." She said.

"Guys!" Luz yelled slamming herself against the table in excitement giving them a scare. "You will not believe what's going on…it's a book fair!" She exclaimed as she posed between the book stalls while Eva walked through with a bag full of them and one in her hand that she's reading with great enthusiasm.

"Where books come to life!" Luz said in awe.

"Literally." Eva comments and a boom fell by Luz's feet.

"Hello." It greeted which spooked Luz causing her to kick it away.

"A fair without rides." King said, confused.

"Who needs rides when this can take you anywhere." Some guy said, shoving his book in King's face.

"Meh!" King said as he threw a piece of bacon on the guy's head a demon swooped in and flew off with him.

"A,--ew. And B, I'm bored. C, I feel like pickpocketing some dorks while they browse.

"I'll come with you. I still need more books for my research." Eva said following after her while putting her book in her bag.

"No wait…come on Eva…" Luz whined wanting Eva to join and Eva spun around and walked backwards.

"Sorry, Luz but revolutionizing Bard magic never waits!" Eva exclaimed.

"It's too early for your enthusiasm, Owlet." Eda said, ruffling her hair.

"Hey!" Eva whined as Luz watched sadly as they left.

"Will you come with me King, please, you gotta give it a chance." Luz pleaded with King. "I'll let you ride in my hoodie." She said.

"Oohhh." King said as he gave in. Not being able to resist the temptation of getting in and letting Luz do all the walking.

"The book fair's got everything. A scene making workshop, meet and greets and…what's that?" She asked but then she gasped with surprise. "A writing competition! I've always wanted to be a writer." She sighed dreamily.

"Writer? I thought you wanted to be a witch?" King asked, confused.

"Of course I wanna be a witch, but where I'm from it's kinda…impossible. So my runner up dream was to be a writer…I've had this about the author picture since I was 7 years old. I know my good angle." She said as shebtoom out a picture of herself smirking or by the window in a purple sweater with pink dolphins and blue saturn planets. "I'm gonna enter the competition." She said but an excited  ran into her while screaming excitedly.

"Ugh. What are these basement dwellers doing out in natural sunlight." King cringed.

"Um. We're in line for John de Plune. Most famous writer on the boiling isles, famed author of the Grimm Warrior series. I'm gonna have him read my story…and marry me." The little demon said.

"John will you sign my child!" A fan said as they held their baby.

"I'll sign anything. Ah! Hahahahaha!" John laughed.
