Somewhere in the forest a community of demi-witches lived.
They made their homes from the very trees that resided in the forest, as they believed that being closer with nature and the wild that surrounds it allows them to coexist with the titan.
It was here that Eva found solace when she ran away from home after yelling at her mom. She wanted to go back but she felt ashamed for what she had said to Eda, just remember the hurt in Eda's had her riddled in guilt.
"Knockity knock, knock." Whimsy peaked through the door before walking into the room with a tray of snacks and hot chrocklate. "Hey, you feeling okay?" She asked with a worried expression.
It's been a couple days since she arrived at her doorstep and she's tried everything to cheer her up, the grudgebee match against Basha and her cronies was fun and it somewhat worked up a smile, but it didn't last.
"Thanks." Eva smiled gratefully as she took a cup that Whimsy handed to her. "Sorry, I've been staying here for so long." She sighed.
"Don't worry about it, I love having you over...I just wish it were for the right reasons. Listen, I know that you had an arguement with your mom, but ever since you got here you've been sad... tell me, what happened? Despite how I look it, I make a great advisor for this community!" Whimsy huffed proudly and that brought Eva into a giggle which Whimsy was very proud of accomplishing.
"Thanks Whim...it's not like I wanted to leave home at first, I was just so tired of all the lying a secrets. I just want to know... who the rest of me is and I don't want everything about me to be kept a secret anymore." She sighed.
At Grom when Eva foolishly decided to face her fears it also made her realise what she really wanted, she wanted her family to ne complete.
"Listen, I get it. But, thing of it from your mom's perspective. Eva, you're all she has and being from a minority of witch folk that are sometimes looked down upon by others, parents will always do anything for their kids...even if it means lying. So you should probably just sit with your mom and talk, really talk and get everything you need off your chest " Whimsy said.
Eva listened attentively to her friend and she was right. "But, how can I even show my face after all the mean things I said to her?" She wilted.
"Don't worry I'm sure it'll work out because if not out of love there's also a parent's unusually high tolerance for disrespect. Jusy say sorry with your best guilt face and bam! You're forgiven, so easy I do it all the time." Whimsy sniffed proudly.
"Oh really..."
Whimsy flinched as the door creaked open, giving them a view of Whimsy's Mom at the door.
"M-Mom?!" Whimsy paled as her mom's shadow hovered over them.

The duo made to Hexside just in time for the school trip to the Emperor's Castle.
"Hey Eva!" Luz waved.
"Hi Luz." Eva waved back.
"So...how's it going?" She asked.
"It's going great...Um, h-how's mom?" Eva asked.
"Not great, the Emperor's Coven have gotten more...frequent in their visits and Eda's curse is only getting worse as it's taking more potions to help her..." Luz explained.
"Wait, what?! Why didn't anybody tell me?" Eva gasped.
"Sorry Eva, Eda didn't want you to worry." Luz explained, but that only got Eva frowning.
"I'm sure she does..." She grumbled.
"Come on Eva, please try to understand." Luz reached out.
"Don't worry, I do. I should probably be used to it by now." Eva mumbled.
