(For you hyunjinsunknownwife I know you've been waiting patiently for an update. I'm so sorry it's taken so long! Thank you for all of your support!)
I burst through the doors of my lecture, late. I quickly seated myself in my usual spot, with Lix and Jin directly behind me.
"Where have you been?" Lix whispered into my ear, as he gently tucked some of my windswept hair behind my shoulder. I shuddered slightly and slapped his hand away. I was still trying to keep my friendship with them as quiet as possible. We had been hanging out a lot and I was worried it was drawing too much attention to me. Half of the females in the class were already staring at me.
Lix and Jin usually lost interest in girls pretty quickly. The record was currently held by Jihun. She had lasted a month. I was currently on week three.
"Wouldn't you like to know? You nosy little boy." I murmured as I began taking notes furiously, trying to catch up on everything I had missed so far. He chuckled quietly and I half smiled to myself.
"Boy? That's not what you usually call me whenever we're sharing a bed little y/nie." His deep gravelly voice was barely a whisper and I found it truly incredible that such a sexy voice resided in the most mystical fairy like man I had ever seen in my life.
"You should be so lucky Lix. I haven't shared a bed with you for weeks." I stated factually. I flipped my hair and made sure it landed on his desk. He chuckled and I smirked to myself as I stared down at my paper. These two were growing on me.
"Why don't we do something about that? How about you come to ours later and we can have a little party?" Hyunjin whispered. The flirtatious tone mixed with the sexy little sigh he let out was almost irresistible. Almost.
"I-I can't." As much as I wanted to, I had so many projects to complete, and I needed to get them done. I had spent so much time with these clowns I had been neglecting my school work big time.
"FELIX, HYUNJIN AND Y/N!" Our teacher shouted loudly, breaking us out of our flirtatious conversation. I gulped and sunk down in my seat. "Save the flirting for after class! Focus!" He tapped the board aggressively with his chubby finger and continued droning on. I tried to hide myself from the fifty pairs of eyes that were on us, as they both stifled their laughter. I felt one of them rub my hair and I wanted to die. Why did they always insist on embarrassing me?
After class I began packing up my things and sighed to myself. My weekend was jam packed with boring studying and I would give anything to lighten my workload.
"Why can't you come over tonight?" Hyunjin sounded like a needy little child and I pouted at him cutely as my hands stopped working.
"I have so much work to do. I can't keep letting you two distract me." I explained quietly. "It's not because I don't want to. But I have to catch up."
"Bring it with you. We're straight A students. We'll help you get it done." He shrugged and folded his arms. I raised a skeptical eyebrow, trying not to bark out a loud laugh. I didn't believe them one bit.
"I'm not stupid enough to believe that." Hyunjin and Lix both shared a look and then their eyes settled back on me.
"We'll prove it. Bring your homework and any projects to our house and we'll do it together." Felix said with an innocent smile plastered on his face.
"That's what she said!" Hyunjin spat out quickly, obviously wanting to make the joke before anyone else could.
"I swear if you guys are kidding, I will murder you both. I have to do it all this weekend!"
"That's what she said!" Hyunjin was enjoying this far too much and he fell about laughing at his own stupid joke.
"No! Honestly we can help. We'll all pitch in and do it together!" My hand flew over Hyunjin's mouth as he took a deep breath. I knew what he was about to say and I didn't want to hear it. I could see, from the corner of my eye, the angry group of girls who were whispering as every innuendo kept coming from the pair of them.
"If I agree will you both shut up and leave me alone?" I asked desperately. Their attention inside school wasn't something I wanted. It was too risky for me. They both nodded and I removed my hand from Hyunjin's mouth. They both wrapped their arms around me and each other, and began squeezing me tightly.
"We'll see you in a couple of hours y/nie. Don't be late!" They finally released me and gathered their things before leaving. Shit. I thought to myself as I hurriedly finished packing my things. The girls were waiting, and I knew they were ready to ambush me.
"So y/n." Jihun's hand slammed down on my desk and I realised I was surrounded by them. I glanced to the door, but Felix and Hyunjin were already gone. I was trapped.
"H-Hi Jihun." I bowed slightly and found myself shaking slightly as I pulled my backpack on. She had a fierce reputation and I really did not want to get on her bad side. The last girl who did had to transfer.
"Which one of them are you fucking?" She demanded. My eyes met hers, and widened in pure horror. Was this what people thought of me?
"N-Neither of them. We're just friends." I insisted as I looked away. The fiery temper she possessed was clear in her deathly stare, as daggers flew at me. If looks could kill, I would be dead.
"Don't be shy now." One of her friends, Jihoon, said as she played with my hair from behind me. I shuddered under her touch and shook my head.
"I-I'm not. I really don't like either of them like that. They befriended me, and now I'm stuck with them. I'm sure they'll get bored of me soon."
"You're damn right they will. Don't you realise you look like a dumb desperate slut? You're pursuing them so intensely and it's obvious to all of them. But they are out of your league." I gulped and frowned down at my shoes. Couldn't anyone see I wasn't the one chasing them? They always approached me. They always started conversations with me.
"I'm not pursuing them. They're my friends." It was a dumb thing to do. Disagreeing with Jihun was like poking a wild bear who had just come out of hibernation. You were bound to get eaten alive.
"Oops." I gasped as a freezing cold liquid began spreading all over my body. I saw the brown puddle on the floor, and suddenly my hair was pulled hard as her friend grabbed me, to restrain me.
"P-Please. I'm sorry. I'll never speak to them again." I pleaded, in fear of what they would do to me next. Jihun pulled the long string of gum out of her mouth, before sticking it to my hair and rubbing it in. Laughter erupted from her and her friends as I felt tears pricking at the corners of my eyes.
"Hey! What the fuck are you doing?!" My heart lept into my throat as salvation arrived. Felix had come back. The girls lept away from me like I was diseased as his shoes tapped noisily down the stairs towards us. He shoved them roughly out of the way and his warm hand clasped around my wrist. He pulled me protectively behind him and I covered my face with my hands.
"Hey Lixy." Jihun's tone changed to a cutesy sickly sweet girly one and I just wanted to throw up. I was soaked through, and now I would have to cut my hair. Why had I allowed them to get so close to me?
This was always going to be the outcome.
