(Hi guys! Thought you might want an update!)
"Your grades are slipping Y/N. You're disengaged in class, and you barely ever seem like you're awake." My teacher was droning on and on, and I knew my parents would be furious.
For all of their indifference to my general existence, they still wanted me to do well in school.
"This is your last chance, otherwise we're going to terminate your course."
"What? No!" I stood and slammed my hand on the desk, hard. "I-I mean....." I regained my composure and seated myself once more, bowing my head in shame.
"As I was saying-"
"Please, Sir, give me one more chance." I begged. Leaving the school, would mean leaving Hyunjin and Felix, and leaving my chances of ever getting revenge for the humiliation I had suffered.
"Y/N... I don't think you realise how severe this is!" He sounded exasperated and threw his hands in the air, almost like he was in despair. I had gone from being one of the top students, to dead bottom of the class.
"Sir, I-I've had a lot going on outside of school."
"Don't get my started on the police visits Y/N! The head of the school is nervous every time your name is mentioned!" I wasn't going to correct him and explain I had meant spending most nights with Hyunjin and Felix rearranging my internal organs.
"Please Sir, when is the next exam? I promise you will see, I can bring this back." He pinched the bridge of his pointy nose and rubbed hard, letting out a hefty sigh from his stubble framed mouth.
"Next Friday. Last chance." With that he stood, retrieved his professional looking man bag, and glasses I was certain he wore for aesthetics rather than function, and left the room. I leaned back in my chair and yawned. I was truly exhausted. I had been trying to figure out a way to get back at them. Trying to figure out a way to get them to let their guard down, but they were tough nuts to crack.
"Y/nie!" My thought trail was broken by Felix's voice as a weight landed on my shoulders and I was enveloped in a tight embrace. We had, of course, become the talk of the school.
Felix and Hyunjin had discussed it, and decided it was better for me to "be with Felix" as people had seen him appear to be outwardly attached to me. Hyunjin kept his cool indifference for the most part.
Until we got home of course and then he couldn't keep away from me.
"Hello handsome." I squeezed his arms gently and leaned into his body.
"How did it go?" Hyunjin demanded.
"Nice to see you too Jinnie. Not good. I need to ace the test next week or I'm done here. I think I need to stay at my apartment for a week and catch up." I mumbled. Felix's grip slackened and his face appeared in my eyeline.
"Does that mean we won't be able to hang out?" He jutted his bottom lip out and gave me puppy dog eyes. I nodded solemnly and half smiled.
"It's only a week Lixie. Then you can have all my attention again."
"No." Hyunjin said firmly. My eyes fell upon him and I raised an eyebrow.
"Excuse me?" I asked. Had he not understood what was happening? Or had I not made it clear enough?
"No. You can study at ours, and we can continue the current arrangement. I'm passing all my classes, Felix and I can help. Maybe we can even work on some incentives to keep you studying?" He smirked at me, and I knew what he meant.
"Do I not get a say in my own life anymore? And no. No incentives, or we'll just end up fucking all the time and I'll fail. Besides, I could use a break, I'm aching." I whined as I stood and stretched my sore muscles.
"Good. You should be aching. And no. You don't get a say. We have a deal y/nie. Or have you forgotten?"
Before I could say another word, he had pulled me to him, and his hand was resting lightly on my butt, squeezing slightly. Shivers danced up and down my spine as I stared up into his deep brown, michevious eyes.
"Why the change of heart? Why do you suddenly want us to sleep in your bed?" Hyunjin sounded skeptical as he began undressing, and throwing his clothes in a pile on the floor.
"Because, you're right. I'm being unreasonable, but I'd like to make a deal with you." Hyunjin stopped what he was doing and looked down at me. His physique was more impressive than ever, and as much as I currently wanted to punch him, I couldn't deny how gorgeous he was.
"What deal?" He asked. Felix's arm snaked cautiously around my waist, as he settled next to me in bed. I scooted closer to him and allowed him to spoon me. His hand cheekily crept upwards towards my chest, but I wasn't done brokering an agreement. I caught his hand in mine firmly to stop him in his tracks.
"Well, as well all seemed to have a good time, why don't we continue with... having some fun. I won't pressure you for a relationship, but I don't want you sleeping with anyone else, or letting anyone know our agreement." I stated firmly. "In return, one of you comes to family meals and plays the perfect boyfriend so I can shut my mother up." Of course that wasn't the reason I really want to pretend.
I knew Felix felt differently from. Hyunjin. If Lix got hurt, so would Jin.
"No I haven't forgotten. Get off of me before anyone sees." I tried to free myself but he wasn't allowing it.
"You scared to be this close to me?" He smirked as be spoke, and before I could get another word out he kissed me firmly. As if he was asserting his position over me.
Good. That's what I wanted him to think.
"Not at all. I just don't want someone to see you cosying up to me in front of Lixie. They'll catch on."
He released me from his grip, and Felix pulled me back into his arms.
"Why don't we go home? I'll cook a nice meal and you two can start working on y/n's grades." Felix suggested happily. I smiled and kissed his cheek.
"You're the best Lixie." I stood up and grabbed my bag from under the desk.
"What about me?" Hyunjin was pouting like a child.
"That's still to be decided. We'll see how tonight goes first." I poked my tongue out at him, and he launched at me. I began racing out of the room, laughing loudly as I went. Hyunjin and Felix were right behind me.
What I lacked in pure speed, I made up for by being light on my feet. I was dodging around other students, laughing loudly, as they both tried, and failed to catch me.
"Y/N! You're a maniac!" Lixie shouted as he finally got a grip of my arm, just outside the school building. I was laughing like an idiot as he pulled me into another hug and kissed me.
The only part of my plan that actually made me feel bad was Felix.
He was falling, it was clear to see, and he was going to get hurt.
But ruining Hyunjin was worth it.
Maybe Lix was right. Maybe I had turned into a Maniac.
