(Hey all, told you it wouldn't be long didn't I?)
I watched as they flitted from place to place, searching for somewhere, anywwhre to hide. What on Earth had they brought to my door? And more importantly, what had they been doing to bring it here?
BANG
"Police! Nobody move!" It was the apartment over, the door had clearly been smashed open and there were sounds of doors banging. Objects were being moved, and I could feel panic setting in.
"The police are here?!" I hissed angrily. "And you want me to lie to them?!"
"Good girl." Hyunjin pecked my cheek as he passed me, and before I could protest to the condescension he had juat addressed me with, him and Felix had concealed themselves.
This day was getting crazier the longer I stayed awake. It was like I had entered some crazy alternate reality. Was I going mad?
Knock Knock knock
"Police, open up or we'll force entry!" I quickly rushed to the door, before I had what would probably be a costly repair job on my hands.
"Hello?" I feigned tiredness as though I had just woken from a slumber that couldn't be further from my racing mind.
"We're looking for two men, slim build, one has blonde shoulder length hair, and the other has a blonde mullet style. Both between five foot eight, and six foot we believe. Have you seen them?" The middle aged, fit man asked as he tried to peer over my head into the apartment behind me.
My heart was pounding against my chest. Now was my chance. To pay them back for the humiliation I felt, or....
"I haven't. Should I be worried Officer? I'm a lone female, are they dangerous?" The officer slammed his hand against the wall in frustration and let out a long sigh.
"We don't believe so. They fled from the scene of a drugs bust, we believe they have inside information that may be vital for our investigation."
"I'm sorry Officer, I wish I could help."
"Can we take a look around if you don't mind?"
"Do you have a warrant?" I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow at him. He seemed taken aback that I would even ask something like that.
"We don't need a warrant if we suspect-"
"That I'm harboring a criminal, but why would you suspect a lone female? A lone female college student who is top of her class, to be harboring criminals. I don't even know any criminals." I lied like it was my full time job, and cut the officer off at every turn until I had him backed into a corner.
"I'm sorry ma'am. Have a lovely evening." I closed and locked my front door. I flopped against it and pressed my hand to my chest as I took a deep breath. My heart felt like it was about to explode out of my ribcage and it was beginning to become painful.
Felix appeared and went to speak, but I immediately slapped my hand over his mouth tightly.
"They're listening at the door." I whispered quietly into his ear. I could tell they were. The door was like paper and I hadn't heard any footsteps. If they made a peep, my door would be busted, and these two would be hauled off, in cuffs.
I heard the banging and shouting continue somewhere else nearby, but I still wasn't confident. Most of the apartments here had been empty fora while, and I knew the officer would probably still be suspicious of me.
"Are they gone?" Hyunjin whispered quietly. I shook my head and went to rest my exhausted body on the sofa. I still hadn't recovered from the intense work out the pair had given me a little over two days ago.
"What have you two been doing? A drugs bust?!" I hissed angrily as they sat down in front of me on the floor.
"We were scoring weed. It's not our fault." Hyunjin stated flatly as he stretched his arms above his head, revealing his cute tummy, with some of his abs slightly on view.
The one's I had been touching just a few days ago.
"Weed? Since when did you two smoke?!" I hadn't seen either of them so much as toke on a cigarette, let alone smoke weed.
"Eh, from time to time we dabble." Felix yawned and began massaging his calves, pulling faces as he went. No wonder these two were in such good shape. They were always running from the consequences of their actions.
"Well you can't stay here." I stated flatly.
"Why not?" The deepest feelings of hurt and rage were bubbling up again. How was he so oblivious to his own actions? Hyunjin looked puzzled as he stared me down. As though I was being insane.
"How much of that shit have you already smoked?" I whisper shouted. "Have you forgotten just about everything that has happened in the last 48 hours? Why would I want either of you anywhere near me?!" The venom dripped from my voice. I genuinely couldn't believe what I was hearing.
"Y/nie, don't be like that. Didn't you enjoy it?" Hyunjin licked his lips lustfully as he stared at me, eyeing me up like a meal. I was used to this by now, and his gaze no longer made my heart flutter as it once had.
"That is besides the point."
"So now you hate us, because...? Because you didn't get your own way? Have you ever considered more than just your feelings matter?" Hyunjin asked.
"You little-" I was cut off by Felix.
"Enough. Both of you. The police are still here. If you carry on, they're going to come back, and this time, they won't need a warrant!" He hissed angrily as he glared between the two of us.
"I'm going to bed." I stated flatly. I stood up and headed for my bedroom.
"Where are we supposed to sleep?" Hyunjin asked.
"There's a floor isn't there?"
"Don't be ridiculous y/n."
"You're lucky I haven't sailed you down the river you selfish ass. Watch your tone, and stay away from me Hwang Hyunjin. I am not in the mood to play your games!"
I did feel bad for Felix in all of this. He had tried to help us compromise somewhere in the middle, but I wasn't willing to budge, and neither was Hyunjin.
"Are you really willing to lose your only friends because of your ego? We're the only people to ever show any interest in you, are you really gonna give all of that up?"
He knew my weakness. I had been far too vulnerable with these two.
"Screw you." I closed my door and flopped down onto my bed. I couldn't believe how I had gone from outcast, to the object of their affection, to a sex toy, to someone who honestly wanted to never see the two hottest guys around, ever again.
What was I doing? Playing victim? This wasn't like me. I didn't allow people to get the better of me anymore. It wasn't time to roll over.
They were smart, but I was smarter, and I needed to start acting like it.
Now we were going to enter the most interesting part of our "relationship." The part where I fought back.
"Guys, I whispered to the two half naked men as I peered through the crack in the door. They both stopped what they were doing to look at me.
"You ok?" Felix asked cautiously.
"I've been thinking, come stay in here, I don't want to sleep alone tonight, and I don't want to throw our friendship away." They looked slightly shocked, but both of them practically jumped at the chance to be in my bed with me.
I couldn't help feeling a bit excited about what was going to come. I just needed to earn their trust again.
The games were about to begin.
