Synopsis: Engineer comes home from work to a clingy Gnome who wants to cuddle.
Engineer can hardly keep his eyes open by the time he gets home. Work wasn't stressful for him at all; it just gets tiring after hours of doing the same thing. He's just happy that he can finally see Gnome after such a long day, and Gnome is just as happy to see him.
"Hi, Engie :D, how was work?"
"Tiring as usual."
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Did something happen?"
"Nah, it just gets old doing the same damn thing for 30 days straight."
"Oh, I understand that! Is there anything I can do to help you?"
"Nothing that comes to mind."
"How about we put something on the TV? We can watch it if we want, and we can cuddle under the blankets."
"That would be great, Gnome. Thanks, babe."
"Anything for my Engie!"
Gnome pulls out a blanket from the couch, and the two get under it. She then grabs the remote and turns on the television, unsure of what she's put on. At this point, she doesn't care; she just wants to help her boyfriend to feel better.
Soon, Gnome wraps her arms around Engie and essentially is spooning him. She pecks him on the cheek and forehead a few times, and Engineer responds by shutting his eyes and smiling.
"I love you so much, Gnome."
"I love you too."
"Hey, what did you put on the TV?"
"Who cares? I'm just happy to get to spend the with you!"
She hugs him tighter, and that accidentally cracks Engineer's back.
"Sorry Engie! I didn't mean to do that."
"You don't have to apologize. My back feels a lot better now!"
"Ok, good."
Getting back to the cuddle session, Gnome finds herself playing with Engineer's dark, fluffy hair. She finds herself using her long fingernails to comb through it and to "massage" his head. Who knew that this kind of touch could feel so good? Apparently Engineer didn't, but still, he finds himself in a state of ecstasy just by being touched by Gnome. He could fall asleep like this.
Engineer snuggles himself a little bit closer to Gnome, and she gives him a light squeeze. This makes all of the chemicals in his brain go crazy, and he feels his face turn red and warm from it.
Moments later, Engineer slowly drifts off to sleep. Gnome slowly lets him go so he can sleep without interruptions, but she continues to lie next to him and admire him for a while.
"Awww, he's so cute when he sleeps. I should probably go to bed soon, too."
With that, she goes back to her own room to get some rest.
Hey, sorry that this one was so short! I didn't really know what to do with it, but I think it came out decently.
