"... There, I read the last letter." Classic sniffed, trying to harshly rub away the tears that started to bubble and trickle down his cheekbones, all while turning towards the unknown being, clapping in congratulations.
"Yeah! Ya did it, bud, you did it!" They smiled, "and now, you only have one final choice to make..."
"Would you like to travel the multiverses, or would you like to spend the rest of your time here, with me?"
Classic blinked at them, before grinning cheekily.
"What kind of question is that? Of course I'd like to travel the multiverses! Ink would've liked that too, anyway, and besides, it's interesting hearing that there are other Multiverses out there outside of everyone I've ever known..."
They chuckled, "that is true. Alright, come closer, I want to give you something."
As Classic shuffled to let himself get closer, he felt their arms wrap around his shoulders, before pulling something over said shoulders and click around the front of his neck. It was a coat, not unlike the one that they themself was wearing. Except that it was cream-colored, and had a blue diamond as a fastener.
"Oooo! I like this makeover!" He chuckled, looking around in his coat as he felt his jacket get removed, leaving just his white shirt and white slacks that were on him when he woke up.
"I like it too, Classic." They smiled, before carefully gifting him a pair of scissors.
They were golden in color, with intricate, blue symbols put on the handles. The scissors themselves weren't sharp- they were quite blunt, actually, though he just assumed that they were just take some extra measures to ensure his safety when keeping them in his pocket or something.
"Just slide the scissors in mid air and cut a slit in it." They explained, "just cut a slit, and it'll automatically open a portal for about 10 seconds. Though it might change depending on a few relative factors, since I haven't really used them. Ever. I really do hope these keep you safe on your journey."
Classic looked at them in the eye, before chuckling and patting their head. "I'll be fine, I've survived multiple resets before, this is probably gonna be nothing! ... I hope."
"I'll be here to protect and guide you, if you need it."
"That would be appreciated." Sans laughed lightheartedly, earning a small smile from the unknown being, before experimentally cutting open a portal right in front of him, careful not to poke them. "Since I'm gonna be calling myself as something else now."
"That would be preferable. Can't be parading around calling yourself Classic in other multiverses now can you?" They chuckled, earning an agreeing nod from him.
"Yep, that's why Imma call myself Fable from now... on!" He said, cutting open a portal with his scissors.
As a circular portal with a glistening golden light burst into view once he pulled the scissors away, Classic couldn't but become enamored as he stared at the portal, completely foreign to the thought of moving in between worlds since he, as stated in previous letters, wasn't quite someone to visit other worlds.
"Ah, but hey, I never got your name!" Classic exclaimed, turning back around towards the unknown being, earning a lighthearted click of the tongue from them.
"I thought you forgot..."
"I may be a bonehead but I'm not one to forget my friend's names!"
Skipping up towards him, they murmured something in his ear and kissed his forehead, much to his embarrassment and shock, before dispersing into golden light.
"My name is Seru."
