Sabriel

"C'mon Sam!" Gabriel whines, "Why not?" Sam sighs knowing Gabriel will never shut up until he agrees to go see "Titanic" with him. It's his favorite movie, after all.
"God, I don't want to do this." Sam thinks; he says, "Fine." Gabriel gets over excited, grabs Sam's hand and starts dragging Sam out the door. It's a funny sight- like a platypus dragging a moose. Sam can't help but smile as he watches Gabe's head bob around in front of him.
They arrive at the theater (not spelled "theatre" if you get the joke). Sam walks over to the ticket booth and buys two adult tickets. He stands there for a moment and watches Gabriel buy just about every type of candy the theater has to offer. When Gabriel is struggling to carry the multiple boxes of sweets, Sam decides he should start helping him.
They enter the dark room and find an empty pair of seats close to the middle of the ninth row.
The awkwardly climb over a couple and shimmy over to their seats. It takes a moment for them both to get settled, although, for different reasons- Sam, because of his giant legs and Gabriel, because of all the candy he had to find a place for.
Sam turns to Gabriel, "You know, Balthazar hates this movie. Like HATES it."
"Oh, trust me. I know. That's one of the reasons I like it so much." Gabriel replies without facing Sam (he's playing the celebrity trivia game on the pre-movie advertisements and getting every question right).
The lights in the theater dim and Gabriel, extremely excited, grips Sam's hand.
Sam, chuckling at Gabe's excitement, sarcastically asks, "Are you ready?"
Gabriel's face grows serious as he slowly turns toward Sam. "Hells yeah." he says, just loud enough for Sam to hear. Then, the movie begins.

Sam and Gabe walk out of the dark room, their hands still entwined.
"That was sooo cheesy," Sam says, "How can you stand to watch it so many times?!?"
Gabriel just laughs to him self, "Oh, Moose. You'll never understand, will you?"
