"WOULD YOU ALL JUST SHUT UP?!?" I yelled at Cas, Sam, and Crowley, "We are not even half way there! So help me, I WILL turn this car around if you all do not stop arguing! Do you understand?"
Sam looked down at the floor and muttered yes while Cas glared out the window and Crowley just sat with his arm crossed across his chest and a smirk on his face.
I looked at Cas in my rear view window. He met my eyes in the reflection.
"Dean. I don't understand. Why can't I just fly there?" He asked.
"Because."I replied shortly, seeing as how I had no patience left.
"Because why?" Crowley pestered, just to annoy me.
"Because I said so."
We had been driving for two hours, but it felt like an eternity. We were going to Kings Island in Ohio and its a five hour car ride from where our last case was. I thought it would be fun to take Sam and Cas to an amusement park. We had to bring Crowley because otherwise he would've been at the bunker alone for too long and I don't trust that.
So far, we have had sing-a-longs, arguments, fist fights in the backseat (Cas and Crowley) that caused us to stop on the side of the road and switch seats, the inevitable "are we there, yet?" question, and then there was a contest to see who could pop their gum the loudest- I won.
We passed the Indiana-Ohio border and I turned on the radio. "Heat of the Moment" started playing. Sam gave me a pointed look and so I turned it off. I'm still confused as to why he hates that song so much.
I noticed that I'm low on gas so I took the next exit and find a gas station. I pulled up next to the pump and started filling baby up. I heard a car door slam and turned around to find Crowley reaching his arm up inside a vending machine stretching his arm but still not able to reach anything. I just laughed and he turned around, his face turning red. I walked over and handed him two dollars. I walked back to the pump, inserted a fake credit card, and got in the car. I turned around in my seat.
"Everything okay back there?" I questioned.
"It's FINE." Cas remarked sarcastically.
"Well... SOMEone's a little bit grumpy today." Crowley said smirking, once again, just trying to annoy people.
"Alrighty then," I said as I pulled out of the parking lot and got back on the highway.
After about half an hour of blissful silence, I realized that Sam hadn't said anything in a long time. I looked over to find him asleep, head resting against the seat. Gently, I took a spoon and put it into his mouth. He didn't notice. I had the radio off, but I turned the volume up really loud. I inserted a cd with the loudest song ever on it and pressed play. All of a sudden Sam's eyes flew open, his hands unsure of what to do first: turn of the radio or take the spoon out of his mouth. he went for the first option and turned the volume to zero. Then, he spit out the spoon into my lap where I threw it out the window.
"What the h*ll, Dean?!?"
"What?? You were asleep! On a road trip! What did you expect me to do?"
"God, you are SOO annoying," Sam, Cas, and Crowley all said at once. But I didn't care. I knew they loved me anyways.
