The blue bird all recovered took a leap, over the vast of the forest, there guided by crows migrating. He once again felt like this is really home and so he took off.

Today is a quite different Saturday from what she has been accustomed to.

Eric asked her to meet him at the train station. Naturally she agreed to, very eagerly. Dressed with the most beautiful flower pattern dress, she found on a shop the night before. Looking stunning with her vibrating red hair led to anyone who laid eyes on her to follow her.

- Good morning, Joanna. I hope you didn't have to wait long.

- Not at all, I just arrived.

Would this be considered a date? Is what she kept thinking, yet they are mere friends. Nothing more nor less.

The train was empty, and so they relaxed next to each other talking about all sorts of things, mostly discussing their favorite movies and enjoying the greenery that surrounded them.

-It was a great idea to bring coffee from the Backend, I honestly forgot to have breakfast and planned on skipping it.

-How would I really survive without my usual cup of coffee?

Two hours would seem long but to them it felt quite short. They arrived to their destination, slightly sad over the fact they will not be close to each other as they have been during the ride.

-Follow me, today you are going to love the place I am taking you to, he said as he grabbed her hand.

Joe, all this time so far did not feel uncomfortable for a second. Somehow, Eric started to feel like home since long. She trusted him.

They ended up in some countryside filled with all kind of flowers. She fitted so well, Eric thought.

A lovely picnic sitting on the green grass enjoying the enticing sun.

-You could have told me that we're going on a picnic I would have prepared some food...

-You cook? Now I regret it, not tasting your cooking.

-I live alone of course I can cook. Well, next time I will invite you over for dinner.

After lunch, they took a stroll around the forest. Joe could not really keep up with her get up.

-Let's rest for now on this bench.

-That would be great, my feet are starting to hurt.

Eric bended over grabbed one of her feet and took off her sandals, still fully staring at her, looking straight to her eyes.

Joe all flustered, her heartbeat could be heard miles away.

-Well, it does look pretty bad, let's stay here for a while.

All alone in that forest, just the two of them.

-I am sorry, because of me you ended up in this state.

-No, no it was my choice to dress up this way, it is alright. Do not worry.

Eric grabbed both of her hands and yet again looking at her eyes declared,

-To be quite honest, this is the first time I have been on a date. I am quite nervous...

So, this IS A DATE AFTERALL?! Said Joe in her mind.

-I have been tremendously enjoying your company the past few months.

-Me too! I look forward to Saturdays the most!

They both laughed.

And thus, their date ended perfectly.

As beat up as she was, Joe opened her laptop and started typing as soon as she arrived. She did not even get dressed comfortably. Everything just came rushing overpouring.
