I sat behind my desk with my head in my hands. This is possibly the worst idea I have ever had. There is no way I'm going to allow any of those four horrors inherit my factory. My only hope had been the possibility that maybe the fifth ticket winner wouldn't be as horrible as the others, but that hope was quickly fading. It was already 7:30 p.m. The tour is set to being 14 ½ hours from now and no one else has come forward. Well, one did but I knew it was a fake right from the start because I did not send a ticket to Russia. I knew exactly where the last ticket was...right here in this town. I was so worried that this fake ticket would discourage others from continuing to look and it looks like my worst fears have been realized. I sighed to myself. It looks like when everyone thought that the last ticket had been found, they no longer had an interest in my candy. Figures.

Well, at least something interesting happened earlier today. I finally got to see the girl that's always staring at my factory up close. It's not as if I was waiting for her or anything. I just happened to walk by a window and saw her standing there, right in front of the gates. The fact that this is the time she normally comes by on a Sunday was not important. Anyway, I was able to finally get a good look at her face and I was surprised to find her very pretty. I don't think I have ever thought that about a girl before...that's what was surprising. She had her long chocolate hair up in a bun, revealing her big, chocolate doe eyes. Her lips were also perfectly plump and looked like ripe cherries...

I was startled from my train of thought by Doris bursting into the room. "The fifth ticket has been found. The REAL fifth ticket!" I sighed.

"What's the point, Doris?" I moaned. "It's probably just going to be some other rich, spoiled, over competitive fat, fuc- "

"Willy Wonka!" She screeched. I winced before huffing and switching the television on.

A few reporters were gathered outside of a tiny, crooked little house. It honestly looked like it should be condemned. There was a huge hole in the roof for goodness sakes! I looked over at Doris. "What's the kid's name?" I asked in a monotone voice.

She didn't even glance at me as she said, "Charlie Bucket." She was staring at the television intently. "I don't know why, but I have a strong feeling about this one. He may even change your life!"

I snorted. "I don't need him to change my life, Doris. I just need him to run the factory when I die." If I die. I'm actually working on that tiny problem right now.

Doris ignored me and continued to watch the screen. Finally, one of the reporters banged so hard on the front door, I'm surprised it didn't fall off its hinges. The door hesitantly opened, and all of the reporters pushed their way in, eager to see the lucky fifth winner. The camera panned in on a young woman sitting in the middle of a large bed that seemed to be shared by four old people. I wrinkled my nose. Ew. The girl had her head bent, but there seemed to be something oddly familiar about her. Finally, the girl raised her head and I gasped.

"Doris!" I shot up so quickly from my chair that I knocked it over. Doris jumped in surprise before looking at me in agitation, clearly annoyed that I startled her.

"What, Willy?" She snapped.

I ignored her tone and began jumping up and down, pointing at the television. "That's her! That's her! That's the girl who stares at my factory." She looked at me in surprise but before she could question me further, the interview began.

"Are you Charlie Bucket?" One of them yelled.

"Um, yes. I am." She said hesitantly. She has such a pretty voice!

"Charlie! How on earth did you manage to find the last golden ticket?"

"Well, I was on my way to the library this morning. I wanted to get my mind off of the whole golden ticket situation, but then I heard some people talking and found out that the last ticket had been found. Even though I knew from the beginning that I didn't stand a chance at finding one, I was still extremely sad. I've always admired Mr. Wonka and I had always dreamed of meeting him, not to mention taking a peek inside his factory. Anyway, as I was walking, I found some money in the street. Like I said, I was very upset about the recent news, but I knew that a Wonka Whipple-scrumptious fudgemallow delight would cheer me right up! So, I bought the candy bar and found the golden ticket!" She finished with a bright smile.
