It was now 5 and I'm waiting for Calum to come over so we can go to dinner. I was wearing a white button down shirt, black pants, black hat, black purse, and black and white shoes. (Picture on side) I hope that it's not to casual. A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts and I opened the door to see Calum standing there in a black shirt with black pants. The usual. But this shirt didn't have holes in it.
"Hey babe," he said hugging me the leaning down to kiss me. "Ready to go?"
"I just have to grab my keys, then we'll be off." Once again, I'm driving because Cal says that their van looks like a rapist van. It kind of does though.
"I can drive your car if you want?" He asked as I grabbed my keys off of the one shelf.
"No way are you driving my car. I barely let the boys drive it." We started to walk back towards the door when I Beau coming downstairs.
"She's right, Calum. One time I tried to just sit in the driver's seat, she wouldn't let me near the car for a week."
"Goodbye, Beau," I said as we walked out of the house.
"Is that true? About what Beau said?"
"A little," I replied shyly. Calum, like the day of our first dinner, opened the door for me then got in on his side. "Where are we going?" He told me the name of the restaurant and I pulled out of the driveway, heading to the place.
"You live in Australia, right?" Calum asked turning down the radio after a song played.
"Yeah, I live in Melbourne with the guys. But, I was born in America."
"Tell me more about your family or when you were younger." we were at a red light and I looked at him confused. "What? I want to know about you more and your family." The light turned green and I started driving again.
"Not much to tell. I'm an only child. I was born in Indiana and lived there till I was 5, then we decided to move to Melbourne. In kindergarten I met Jai and Luke. We became best friends. Later on, I met Beau, Daniel, and James. Everything was different back then. We were just 6 teenagers who were doing crazy pranks and challenges. Now, there is so much stress. Posting videos, risking getting in a lot of trouble from what we do, recording songs, having shows, trying to get more fans and keep the old ones, and being judged all the time. No matter what it is. What you wear, who you know, what you do, who you hang out with, what you say, who you date, every little thing that you have something to do with, you get judged. I love what we do, but sometimes I wonder what would happen if one day we just stopped. Would anyone really care? The stress is hard. I'm only 19 for fuck's sake. I'm sure you understand, too. I remember a long time ago, we said we don't sing and we won't. But, look at us now. We have an EP out and singles too. It's crazy how much one single thing can change your life." I realized that we were almost at the restaurant. I also noticed that Calum was paying attention to every word I said. "Sorry if I'm ranting a bit."
"It's fine Alex. Sometimes you need to get it out. Why'd you move to Melbourne?" Calum asked.
"I think it's too soon to tell you about that."
"That's okay, whenever you're ready, just let me know." Now we arrived at the restaurant and I turned off the car. Calum and I got out of the car at the same time and walked up to the door. Calum held the door opens for me and walked in after I did. "Reservation for Hood."
We were guided to the back of the restaurant and to a table set for two. Being a gentleman once again, Cal pulled out my seat and waited for me to sit down. Once I was he pushed me in a bit then sat across from me. At dinner we talked about his life and his family. I got to see a different side of Calum tonight. His sensitive side. He probably saw mine, too. With Calum, I'm able to be more open. I can tell him anything. On the way back home, we stopped for ice cream, ate them, then got back in the car. I plugged my phone in and handed it to Calum.
"You pick a song," I told him. He grabbed my phone and started scrolling through my music. I familiar song started to play. "Why are you playing This Fucking Song?"
"Because, I like this one." After jamming out to This Fucking Song and a few other Janoskian songs, we were now back at home. Getting out of the car, I went and sat on the hood of the car. Cal followed, but instead stood in front of me.
"I really enjoyed tonight," he said wrapping his arms around my waist. I wrapped mine around his neck.
"Me too. So much better than our first dinner."
"We didn't even get the chance to go to dinner." We both laughed for a few minutes then it got quiet again. "Can I ask something, Alex?"
"Go right ahead."
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Well, there is this guy that I've been wanting to ask me out." Calum looked very upset. "He's a bass player in this band, and we tried to go out for dinner one night, but he was a complete ass that night." Once realization hit Cal, he decided to play along.
"Right now, I think that this guy we're talking about would like you to say yes and then he would want to kiss you." Calum started to lean in closer to me.
"Then, I guess I'll just have to say yes." I whispered.
Calum kissed me and it turned out into an intense makeout session. All of a sudden, my car alarm started to go off. We both jumped off the car frightened. I looked at the door and saw the boys standing there smirking with my extra set of car keys in Jai's hand. I grabbed mine out and stopped the alarm. After flipping them off, I looked back at Calum who was laughing.
"Guess we were caught?" I asked
"I guess so. I better get going. I'll see you tomorrow probably." Cal kissed me again and then walked up the driveway. I watched him walk away.
Damn, he has a nice ass.
