Part 07:- (Intimating night)

Manik searched his pants pocket but didn't find his phone there.

Manik:- Shit. I think my phone fell down while running.

Nandini:- (scared) Now what???

Manik:- We can't sit here like this. Let's go.

Nandini:- I am so tired, I can't walk anymore.

Manik:- Nandini, please. We have get out of this jungle.

Nandini:- Okay let's go.

Manik:- Wait.

Manik pulled out a white handkerchief and tied it around her arms as it was bleeding badly.

Manik:- Done, let's go.

They started walking but after sometime they realized that they were lost. So it's useless to walk around in this darkness when it's impossible to find a way out of this jungle before the sunrise.

Manik:- We are lost. It's useless to roam around in this jungle because there is no way we can get out of this jungle before the sunrise. Let's sit here and take a rest.

Nandini sat there by supporting her back on a tree and started rubbing her arms.

Nandini:- It's freezing cold here.

Manik:- Yeah.

Manik also rubbed his palms together to create some warmness. They were sitting and waiting for the sunrise but it seems like today's sun isn't going to come soon. Manik saw his watch. It was 3 am. Manik turned towards her and said,

Manik:- Just a few hours then the sun will rise and we will find a way to get out of this jungle.

Manik noticed Nandini's eyes were closed. She didn't even reply to him. First he thought she was asleep and he pulled out his jacket to cover her tiny body to protect her from the cold. When he was putting jacket on her his hands touched her skin and it was cold like a dead body. He found it strange and shook her gently.

Manik:- Nandini....Nandini......

There was no response from her. Manik put her fingers before her nose and found her barely breathing. Manik immediately understood that she had fallen unconscious. He patted her cheeks and said,

Manik:- Nandini...Nandini, wake up....

Manik undressed her and left her only in her inner wears. Then he undressed himself and pulled her on his chest. He covered himself with his jacket and kissed her forehead.

Manik:- (sadly) I am sorry Nandini. Please forgive me.

Manik patted her cheeks but she was still unconscious. Finding no other way he pulled her up like a bride and started walking. Within a few minutes he heard some voices and saw local police had come to rescue them. They took Manik and Nandini to the hospital. Nandini was immediately taken to the ICU as she diagnosed hypothermia. Manik was given basic treatment and sent back to the hotel.
