Part 08:- (Her fairytale)

Few days later

Nandini was admitted into the hospital and in her absence Navya arranged everything and they completed their shoot. Now Manik was standing at the airport. It will be a white lie if I say that he wasn't missing Nandini at all. In fact he was feeling sad to go like this leaving her in this unknown county. But Navya is there for her and she will handle her.

Aliya:- Missing Nandini?

Manik:- Yes.

Aliya:- We all are missing her. Thank you for saving her life.

Manik:- It was my duty. So you don't need to thank me.

Aliya:- I must say that you are a real life hero. Nandini was right when she said that you are different from all other heroes. You are special.

Manik:- (shocked) Nandini said all these to you?

Aliya:- Yes. She is a huge fan of yours.

At shooting spot

Manik saw Nandini at the shooting spot instructing Navya when Manik went to her.

Manik:- Hey Nandini. How are you now?

Nandini:- Hey Manik. I am fine now and thanks for helping me that day. If you won't have helped me then I won't be able to survive.

Manik:- Nandini I need to talk to you.

Nandini:- Yeah sure. Say na.

Manik:- Can we meet somewhere else?

Nandini:- Sorry Manik. I am really very busy today. You know we are already late to complete our movie shooting. If we delay more than it will be difficult to get permission from the sensor board.

Manik:- I can understand. Please text me whenever you are free.

Nandini was going to say something to him when she felt nauseous and rushed to the washroom palming her mouth. Manik also ran behind her and held her hair gently when she was throwing up. He rubbed her back to calm her down.

Manik:- Are you okay?

Nandini:- Yeah, I think I ate something wrong last night.

Manik:- Should I take you to the hospital?

Nandini:- No no, I am fine.

Manik:- Are you sure?

Nandini:- Yeah.

They completed their shooting for the day and Nandini was looking hell exhausted. So Manik said,

Manik:- Nandini come I will drop you.

Nandini:- I am sorry Manik. I promised to help Aliya with her shopping today.

Manik:- You look exhausted. Still you want to go shopping?

Nandini:- I don't want to upset her.

Manik:- Okay, but promise me that you will take a rest after going home.

Nandini pinched her throat and said,

Nandini:- (cutely) Nandu promise. Happy?

Manik:- (smiled) Very happy.

Next day

This morning sickness was taking a toll on her. Today she threw up too. God knows what's wrong with her. But it was scaring the shit out of Manik. He wasn't a fool to not notice those symptoms. Today he was determined to talk to her anyhow. So after pack up he picked up Nandini for dinner and decided to talk to her.

Manik:- Nandini I want to tell you something.

Nandini:- Yeah say.

Manik:- Nandini that night when we were in the jungle......

Nandini:- I know Manik. Local police told me everything. That day if you didn't save me that only god knows how I would survive. Thank you Manik. I am really very grateful to you.

Manik:- Nandini just listen to me. That night I......

Manik couldn't say more as Nandini palmed her mouth and rushed to the washroom. She threw up everything she had just a few minutes ago. All of a sudden she felt weak and dizzy. She somehow went out of the washroom only to find Manik standing there. She forwarded her hand towards him. He immediately took her hand and side hugged her.

Manik:- Are you alright?

Nandini couldn't say anything and fainted in his arms. Manik was scared to see her unconscious figure but somehow he managed to take her to the hospital.

At Hospital

Dr. Simran did her check up and suggested a few medicines. She also told her to go for some tests and told her to come tomorrow to get her reports. After that Manik dropped her home. She was already exhausted so he didn't bother her more. Next day after pack up, Nandini decided to go to the hospital to collect her reports. Manik also insisted to come along and she agreed. Right now they both were sitting in Dr. Simran's cabin when she was examining her reports then she said,

Dr. Simran:- Congratulations Nandini, you are pregnant. See I told you yesterday but you were so adamant not to admit it.

Nandini:- (shocked) What? Dr. Simran, how is this possible when I am still a virgin?

Manik:- Nandini, come with me.

Nandini:- But.....

Manik held her hand and dragged her outside.

Nandini:- (confused) Manik where are you taking me?

Manik:- Nandini I need to tell you something. Just come with me.

Manik drove to her apartment and they both sat in the living room.

Nandini:- Now tell me what's wrong?

Manik:- Nandini please don't get me wrong. I wanted to tell you everything beforehand but somehow I couldn't tell you anything.

Nandini:- Manik, you are scaring me now. Tell me already what it is?

Manik:- That night you fall unconscious due to extremely cold weather. Your whole body was getting cold like ice. So I had to.......

Nandini:- You had to do what?

Manik:- I had to have sex with you.

Nandini:- (shocked) What???

Manik:- You are pregnant with my child. I am sorry Nandini. I had no other options to save your life. Please don't get me wrong, please.

Nandini just palmed her face and started crying. Manik immediately sat on his knees before her and held hands gently.

Manik sighed in defense and left there. As soon as he left there Nandini wiped her tears while laughing loudly.

Nandini:- Aww Manik, you are so naive. I never thought you would be an easy catch for me. In a game if victory is achieved by cheating, the loser must also learn to win by changing the rules. But it's not your fault actually that you have a pure heart.
