Chapter 14: "Rescue"

It's 9 in the morning in Kryuger's office.

Konstantin: You've lost yet another team right?

Kryuger: Yes. In Berlin. It's the DEFY team.

Konstantin: I thought they were the most elite?

Kryuger: They are, they got into some problems. Mind rescuing them?

Konstantin: Fine, I'll be going now-

Kryuger: You'll be commanding over team Makarov.

Konstantin: When are we leaving?

Kryuger: As soon as you're ready. 

Timeskip

The squad was in the helicopter and Konstantin was briefing them.

Konstantin: Since I don't know T-doll technology or biology, you shall be wearing some gas masks. Our mission is to rescue team DEFY and get out. Clear?

Makarov: Crystal.

Konstantin: Alright, get ready. We're almost there.

After some time of flying they were dropped off in some part of the city the signal has been last heard from. They were in close formation and were trying to find anything in the streets that were filled with dead bodies.

Konstantin: Mosin, go to the bell tower, scout out the area and cover us from there, here is a radio.

She took the radio and followed the order, after some time of seeing dead bodies something started to change with that.

Konstantin: Halt.

The team stayed in that position while he went to search out a dead body of a soldier. He went to it and turned the body over, he was met with a face which is beyond recognition with some silicone on it.

Konstantin: The fuck?

He wanted to search the soldier for documents, but the body grabbed him and started to roar and attack him. He held it off by the prosthetic hand and pulled his Deagle out and shot it in the head. It was only knocked backwards but still alive, he fired a few more shots at it until it was dead.

Konstantin: Can't believe these exist now.

AK-47: What exactly?

Konstantin: Zombies. Be on alert and aware of any dead bodies that look 'special'.

They then continued walking down the street until some gun fire was heard not far from them.

Konstantin: Let's go!

They ran to the location and found a hotel which was barricaded, and inside were people fighting off the zombies. The team jumped into action and fired at the zombies. They were all gone and they went to the front door. Konstantin knocked on it three times.

AK-15: Who is it?

Konstantin: Your commander, let me in to check up on you all.

The doors were opened and inside the hotel was AN-94 loading magazines, AK-12 thinking about something and AK-15 in front of me.

AK-15: So you've finally found us?

Konstantin: Orders, where is RPK and Angelia?

She looked down a little and motioned for him to follow her. He did so and she led him in some kind of a waiting room, there was a couch there, RPK-16 laying on it and having a fever by what it looks like.

Konnstantin: And Angelia?

He went to check on her.

AK-15: We don't know, we split up a while ago.
