Chapter 16: "Raid"

Konstantin: What will it be?

He was asking Alchemist in front of the T-dolls, a revolver in her hand.

Konstantin: Pull the trigger on me and guarantee you safety if in some situation or take a shot to the head for "deserting". The choice is yours.

She looked at the revolver for a moment, then aimed at him.

Konstantin: Do it.

WA2000: Commander, are you-?!

Konstantin: Did I give you the permission to speak?

WA2000: ...

Alchemist fired a shot and something was heard hitting the ground, behind him was Cyril with a knife in hand and a dented combat helmet.

Cyril: Told you she was trustworthy.

Konstantin: And I believe you now.

He turned to face Alchemist and shook her hand with a smile.

Konstantin: Welcome to the team. I don't want any arguments with her from now on, she is your comrade now. Dismissed.

Timeskip...

Kryuger: Are you out of your mind?!

Konstantin was being scolded by Kryuger in his office.

Konstantin: Maybe.

Kryuger: When will you take things like this seriously?! *sigh* Nevermind... You were like that back in the day.

Konstantin: Come on, I was almost the best in the squad and I was like that in the squad, nobody seemed to have a problem with it. I'd always scare a general or two when someone was in deep shit.

Kryuger: But how do you maintain everybody with that attitude?

Konstantin: I had a large family, I needed a way to make my younger cousins listen to me. Either doing something dangerous so that I get their attention, or something funny for them. It may not be the best, but it's something.

Kryuger: Alright, you just keep an eye on her. Okay?

Konstantin: Okay.

Konstantin left his office and went to continue his training.

Timeskip...

The training was in many ways, obstacle course, firing range, gas chambers, combat medic lessons, CQC, and many more.

Konstantin: Alright, that'll be all. You shall get your own missions to work together, it'll be far from base, so best of luck.

He handed the T-dolls' squad leaders missions, intercept convoys, search and destroy, stealth, extraction, you name it. At base were only a handful of dolls on guard. Konstantin was at the firing range, in full gear, after the training. He was trying to beat his own record at the range, but was interrupted by the ground shaking and an explosion. He quickly hurried to the exit and saw a whole at the gates, Sangvis Ferri attacking again. He went to ask the nearest T-doll there.

Konstantin: What the hell is going on?!

PTRD: We're under attack!

Konstantin: Ма шта ми каже.

He then get shot in the helmet, and hit the ground.

PTRD: Commander!

Konstantin: I'm okay!

He quickly came back to his senses and started firing at the enemies.

Konstantin: Is that all the forces we got now?!
