Chapter 15: "Interrogation"

Konstantin's alarm clock was ringing or beeping, he and Helian were awaken by it. She was still hugging him.

Konstantin: Morning, love.

Helian: Morning~

Konstantin: Let's get up, we need to start with our work.

Helian: Do we have to?

Konstantin: And here I thought you were the strict one here.

Helian: Well it's thanks to you, you managed to change my mood now.

Konstantin: Right. Well I'll be going now, you can still sleep if you want.

Helian: It isn't the same without you.

Konstantin was sitting in a room waiting for Alchemist to enter. After some time she was brought in.

Konstantin: You've finally arrived.

Alchemist: It wasn't my problem it took them too long.

Konstantin: Right. Come on, take a seat.

He pointed to a seat on the other side of a table, she looked at him, skeptical about it but took a seat nontheless.

Konstantin: Let's start off. Your name.

Alchemist: Haven't I already told you?

Konstantin: Let's start from the beginning. Your name?

Alchemist: Alchemist.

Konstantin: My name is Konstantin, nice to meet you.

He smiled and extended his hand for a handshake, she just stared at him. He pulled his hand back.

Konstantin: Well, that's a bummer. Would you like something to eat or drink?

She was dumbfounded by his question.

Alchemist: Why are you treating me like this?

Konstantin: Prisoners of war must be humanely treated, if a POW is either killed or has his health endangered, the soldier(s) will be in custody. I don't just kill a POW without reason, unless that POW was a pedophile, murderer before the war or a war criminal I'd kill right then and there. But I don't know what you did in the past and by the looks of it, you're clean for me. Now, a drink? Food?

Alchemist: ....water, please.

Konstantin: Of course.

He looked at a certain direction and nodded his head, the doors behind him opened and G36 was caring a glass of water on a tray for Alchemist. She went to Alchemist and gave her the water and left.

Alchemist: Thanks, I guess...

She then drank the water, and while doing so..

Konstantin: Pretty eyes.

She almost chocked there, she composed herself.

Alchemist: What..?

Konstantin: You've got pretty eyes.

Alchemist: ....

Konstantin: I'm serious....how long have you been working for Sangvis Ferri?

Alchemist: Ten years..

Konstantin: You got a record?

Alchemist: I do...

There was a silence in the room until she spoke again.
