Chapter 6: Little Things..

  After I left Luka's house I had to go to a photo shoot, it was boring. Marinette and Alya were there though. While they were I noticed a few little things Marinette does.. I had been thinking about what Luka said, about Marinette liking me. I didn't think he knew what he was saying, but now I'm considering it.

First off, she literally was blushing. Which could mean she is just embarrassed, but still. She was fumbling, shaking practically, and stuttering. I won't lie, I have seen it before. Also it kind of freaks me out..

Then when I was going home, I noticed her following me- I mean that could be nothing, maybe she was going to the park near my house, but still, it was weird. I guess I'll have to talk to her about that.. I mean, at some point. I don't want to be rude and tell her I don't like her like that. But I also don't want to date her and live a lie.

Well either way I have to sleep now I have a long day ahead of me.

I am so tired, I cannot believe I have school tomorrow already. The weekend went by way too fast. I guess I should do some work. This is going to take me forever..

Finally, I'm done with that. Holy crap it's already noon? Jeez that took me a while. I guess I could call Luka. I should ask him to hang out tomorrow, maybe at the park. I start calling and he answers right away.

"Hi Adrien!" I hear him say, happily. "Hello! I was just wondering if maybe we could hang out at the park tomorrow-" I start to say before Luka interrupts shouting, "YES.". Then I start to laugh. "I'm sorry- uh I didn't mean to shout." Luka says. "It's okay, it was funny." I say, chuckling. "Well if you say so, also what time tomorrow?" I hear Luka say. "I don't have a photo shoot, so I suppose right after school?" I say. "Yes, that works for me." Luka says. "Well I gotta go, I'll pick you up on my bike tomorrow!" I hear Luka say. "Alright sounds good, just at my house." I say. "Alright great can't wait!" Luka says. "Yeah me neither, bye, Love you!" I say the last part especially loud. Wait, CRAP I DIDN'T MEAN TO SAY THAT. Crap he just hung up too. Oh no.. Tomorrow is going to be awkward.

Great now it's Monday, I cannot believe I said that to Luka yesterday.. Well I better forget about it now, I have to go to school. So I get ready, go downstairs for breakfast, and head out the door.

Now that I'm here at school I see Alya and Marinette in the class, they are whispering then Marinette looks at me for a second then looks away quickly. Is she sick or something? She looks kind of weird. Whatever it's probably nothing.

Now it's finally lunch. I am so hungry. So I get my food and walk over to my usual table, with Nino. Then I see Alya practically dragging Marinette to come sit with us.

"Hey guys!" I hear Alya say while dragging Marinette to sit down, she does. "H-Hi Maldrien, uh- I mean Ladrien- Um, uh, Nevermind. "I hear Marinette stutter out. "Um, Okay?" I say, sounding a little weirded out. Which I am. I hope this doesn't last long.

Finally I am out of school, all those classes Marinette was staring at me. Like intensely. Well at least that is over now.

Now finally I'm home. There was so much traffic. Now I just have to sneak outside and wait for Luka. But first I have to make a pillow version of me, I know old school, but it just might work. If not I will be in trouble for life. But it would definitely be worth it to see Luka.

Great, now I'm outside. Good thing Gorilla, my bodyguard, was distracted. Now I just have to wait, oh there he is.

Crap, I forgot about yesterday on the phone, this won't be awkward at all..

"Hey.." I say, as Luka stops his bike. "Hey Adrien, here just hop on the back of my bike, and hold on tight." Luka says, and I'm confused. I get on anyway though. As we're riding I think, maybe he didn't hear me? "Hey Luka, what about what I said yesterday?" I say, to test to see if he heard me yesterday. "I am not sure I know what you mean?" I hear Luka say, and I'm relieved. "Oh Phew, okay nevermind." I say, happily. "Um alright?" Luka says, shrugging.

Now we're here at the park. Which I'm sort of sad about. I liked being on the bike with Luka. It was.. Nice. It just felt, right? I know cringey and sort of dumb, but it just did. Although I am glad we can hang out and talk now.

As we walk up I see someone. Oh great it's Marinette. Time for all the little things to start again. 

"Hey Adrien, and Luka? I didn't know you guys hung out." I hear Alya say as she walks up to us. "Yeah we have been the past few days. It's been really nice." I say, smiling. "Oh, uh Hillo guys- I mean Hello.." I hear Marinette stutter out, again.. "Yeah, Hi Marinette." I say, sounding a little annoyed. Which I sort of am. That sounds mean, but it just gets on my nerves. I really wanted to hang out with just Luka.

"Well we better get going." I hear Alya say as she's dragging Marinette away. Who by the way was staring at me again throughout that entire conversation. I'm kind of starting to get creeped out by that now. I mean can you blame me? She follows me around, stalks my social media, which I just found out last night when I checked my phone, and stares at me. I think that would make anybody a little uncomfortable.

I better just forget about it. It will only make me overthink, which I do not want right now. I just want to hang out with Luka and have fun. I'll deal with those thoughts later..
