The "Perfect" Son

Chapter 7: Andre the Ice Cream Maker:

 "Hey Luka, we should get Ice Cream, I see Andre!" I say, happily. If you do not already know Andre is Paris's finest ice cream maker. He gives you ice cream based on what your soulmate looks like. "Ah Adrien, nice to see you, and Luka! I have just the ice cream for you two!" I hear him say as he sees us. He starts scooping it and I'm just waiting for the ladybug themed one I always get, but before he finishes I hear a bang. Me and Luka both look, and we see a building fall over, and Ladybug running after an akumatized baby. "Crap, go hide Luka!" I say loudly. "But what about you-" He starts to say before I grab him and drag him behind a tree. "Stay here!" I say firmly. I run to the nearest building, make sure nobody is around, and transform.

After the fight I see Ladybug on the top of a skyscraper, sitting on the edge. I decided to talk to her about what happened a few days ago. I jump over and sit next to her. Then she says something before I can. "Hey Cat Noir.. I just wanted to say I'm sorry about a few days ago, I was stressed about something else that's why I said that.." I hear her say. Then she holds my hand. Usually I blush, or smile. But this time I feel nothing. Why do I feel nothing? Instead I just take my hand out from under her. She looks confused. "That's fine. I accept your apology. But now I have to go, I'll see you next time Ladybug." I say, sounding firm, not cold, just firm. "Um, no Milady?" I hear her say as I start to walk away. I just keep going instead of replying.

I jump down next to Andre. "Ah Cat Noir! I have just the thing for you!" I hear him say as he starts scooping. I can't really say no now, he already handed one to me. I take it, but when I look down I'm shocked. It has Black licorice as the bottom scoop, Blue raspberry as the middle one, and a lighter blue color on top, which I'm guessing is cotton candy flavored. "Hey, um Andre, did you uh give me the wrong one?" I say, really confused. He must have handed me the wrong one. "No, I believe I gave you the right one, Cat Noir." I hear Andre reply, and I'm confused. "Oh okay?" I say, still confused.

Who could this possibly be? Who has black, deep blue, and light blue as their main outfit? I have no idea. I guess it could be nothing. But Andre never gets it wrong? No, it must be nothing.

I find an alley, eat my ice cream, and de-transform. After that I go back to the park. "Oh my gosh Adrien! I was so worried!" Luka says, while hugging me. I blush. "Don't worry I'm fine! I just hid in the alley over there." I say while pointing to the alley behind Luka, he lets go and looks. "Oh good. I guess we should go get our ice cream now. " Luka says. "Actually I'm kind of full, but you can still go get some." I say. "But we haven't got any yet? I mean I guess that's fine, let's go. " Luka says, looking confused.

Then he grabs my hand and leads me to the stand. "Ah your back, amazing! Here you go!" Andre says, as he scoops and hands him ice cream. The ice cream looks nice. It has white vanilla as the bottom scoop, yellow mango as the middle, and green lime as the top. "Um sir, I think you handed me the wrong one." I hear Luka say. I'm surprised, that's what happened to me earlier too. "No son, I did not. Those are the colors of your soulmate." Andre says, then smiles. Who does that even look like? I guess it's just ice cream. But still.. It's weird. Why didn't I get my usual colors?

As I'm thinking this Luka shrugs, then looks at me and smiles. I don't know why but I blush. I don't know why I do half the things I do around him. He's just so warm, and nice.

Now it's almost time for me to leave. It's nearly 6 p.m. I better go soon before Father realizes I'm not at home. "Hey Luka, I have to go. I really want to stay longer, but I have homework to do." I say, sounding sad and frowning. "Oh that's okay, we had fun, that's all that matters." I hear him say, sounding happy still. So I stopped frowning. "Yeah you're right. Do you want to hang out again tomorrow?" I say, hoping he can.

"Yeah, I would love to.. You know I'm really happy we started hanging out Adrien. You make me really happy." I hear him say, and I blush. I make him happy? No, I make him REALLY happy. Wow. "Yeah you make me happy too Luka." I say, and then I smile. I see him blush. "Well you better get going, I'll see you tomorrow Adrien!" I hear him say. "Yeah I'll see you!" I say, and I am about to walk away, but then he grabs his jacket which is part black on the hood.

When he does this, I realize something. The Ice Cream.. Luka has a jacket that is part black which he wears all the time, he has dark blue hair, and light blue eyes. Oh my gosh. The Ice Cream stands for Luka!
