Every thing seemed have color in the world. Reds', blues', greens', yellows', all kinds of shades. Endless amount of colors. It's what made the world so beautiful.

Then there are the ones that are color blind, like myself. Not the kind where you can't see reds' and greens', making them browns' and grays'. No, see I can't seem to always she shades of colors right. They often become blended and mix, and I then flip them around. It kinda like diclexya but for colors.

But even then we can see colors, I can see colors. it may not be the same but they are still there.

Now think of a world where you can only see the color of your eyes. So say you have red eyes like Deadlox, then you can only see the color red, everything else is grayed out.

Or maybe your like Sky, with golden-yellow eyes, only seeing that color and nothing more.

Sure would be a strange life huh? Now take it from me, with a rare gene, I have an eye color defect. One being blue and they other green. Making me one of those lucky ones that can see TWO colors. But this isn't about me, this is story is about Adam and Ty. And how they see their world.

~

Adam looked at his grayed out friend, Ty, who was trying to clime an apple tree. He wanted to prove to Adam that he didn't need no ladder just to pick a good n' fresh apple.

"Ty I'm not helping you when you fall." Adam yelled to his friend in the tree.

"Is he doing it again?"

"Yup." Adam said, popping the 'P'. "You talk to him Jason, he's not listening to me."

"Dude, then he's never even going to listen to me. You know your the only one he even thinks about listening too." Jason said, folding his arms looking up by the blue sky.

Adam looked over to Jason who was still staring up at what seem to be nothing, but really Adam knew he was staring up at the colorless sky, seeing a real color. Jason told him that he was seeing a color called blue but even then he doesn't know what blue really is.

Jason says its like a color that would remind you of something cold or calm, something sad. Just talking about this blue color made Adam think Jason's color sucked. He didn't want to see a color that would be sad, unlike is warm and happy color he could see.

Still looking at Jason, he saw his little charms shine and shimmer in the sun light. Then he realized that he couldn't see the bright glow of the sun. How weird that would be.

Adam suddenly snapped back to the real world when he heard a thud to the ground. "So now you come down." Adam said, placing his hands on his hips.

"Well I was trying to get you to catch me, but~ you and Jason where both zoned out. So I sat up there till I got bored." He said pointing back up to the tree.

"Well did you even get an apple?"

"Yeah a nice red one too, they say the redder the better." Ty smiled holding out the fruit to Adam.

"Thanks, nice you pick the best of the best for me." A darker shade of gray form on Ty's cheeks, Almost if he was embarrassed by the act. "Ah don't be embarrass Ty, it was real sweet of you."

Adam didn't know if Ty's face could get any darker. He chuckled at how cute he looked at the moment. He always seem to be very shy about nice things he would do for Adam. Adam really honestly did like it.

"Come on, let's get out of here." Adam said as he swung his arm around Ty's neck. What Adam didn't noticed was Ty's tensing body from the touch, or that his grey blush had repaired as they walked.

"W-wait what about Jason? I mean we can't just leave him there." Adam looked back to the Other boy that was still standing there looking up. Adam knew that the sun was setting only because its bright glow was no longer there. Therefore it would be night soon. And one thing Adam knew was that Jason loved the night sky, even if he couldn't see the shine of the stars in there full beauty.

"I think he well be just fine." He said as he began to walk again.

...

"Do you ever wonder why we only see one color?" Ty asked as he kicked a small rock further in front of him. Making the dirt stir as he did so.

"Balance, or so they say."

"No like why do you think we are like this." Adam looked over to Ty, Who was still kicking the small rock around in the dirt, making his shoes and the bottom part of his pants legs a mess.

"Control."

"Why is that?"

"Because they always promise that one day we will be able to see all again, just like the old times." Adam stopped to think for a second before walking again. "I think they took our sight for colors in the first place."

"What makes you say such a thing?"

"Think about Ty, there are only a few people that can see all of the colors. And every one of them are very high power people. Seems a little weird right?"

Ty pounder for a moment on Adams words; in a way they did make some sense. "Okay maybe but I still think you are just over reacting a bit."

"Maybe, but it's still something to think about."

"What makes you say something now?"

"Because I want to see the color red, I want to how the apples look when u pick them for me, I want to see the roses you leave for me at my door from time to time-" Adam was stopped by Ty's shocked looked. Ty had no clue that he knew that he did that. Adam laugh at his face, it was just too good for him. "Yes I know that was you; but mostly I want to see what your eyes really look like, I want to see them sparkle in there full glory."

"Wow.... I never thought about it like that." Ty face heated up, he enjoyed the things Adam had said. It made him feel happy inside. "Maybe colors would be nice."

The two sat on the ground, staring off into the colorless night. Talking and thinking about whatever was on their mind. Soon minutes where hours, and the sun began to rise. As it rose each of the two smiled. Adam smiled because he enjoyed watching the sun's bright glow of yellow, shine upon the grey world. And Ty smiled because he enjoyed the brief moment of red that would dance across the sky.

Even though they were seeing two different things it still meant the same. Ty glanced over to Adam, biting his lip. He as worried his next move would be to risky, but he really wanted to do it. So instead he took a different choice, by laying his head on Adam's shoulder.

To Ty surprise Adam didn't seem to care, instead he leaned in with him. Ty couldn't help but to smile, but on the inside he was screaming in joy.

"Your too cute for being greyed out; yellow hater."
