Only if we saw it sooner

Ty

The young man sat his desk, working on the same that he had been for the past few years. Playing Minecraft and posting them to the web for the world to see. But if you knew him well enough you would have noticed the lack of videos with one of his closes friend. This said friend had moved on in his life, finding a girl, getting married, having a kid, and growing up and got a "real job". His friend, Adam, had began to write books and songs. Soon they had become a hit to the world and Adam left YouTube to work more on his writings.

Ty was happy for Adam of course, Who wouldn't be? But he did find him thinking about him a lot. Almost too much. But Ty didn't mind since he hadn't talked to him in about two years now. With only old memories of them to keep him some what sane about him.

But with old memories, also came the grief of not ever telling Adam about the crush he had on him. Even after Adam came out as Bi, Ty still didn't have to gut to tell him. He just couldn't take the chance of losing his friendship with Adam.

But now he was too late for sure.

Adam

A man in about his twenties as siting at his work display doing what he did every day since he left his life on YouTube. Writing. He still felt bad for leaving so many fans upset about his leave. But you gotta grow up at some point right?

But there was a small part of him that wanted to go back. So instead he just watches some of his friends videos too remember the good times. But really that would just make him want to go back even more.

There was day that he watched one of his friend newer video, just to see what was going on in there life. Big mistake. The moment he clicked on Ty's video he knew it wouldn't end well for him. But that didn't stop him from watching it anyways.

'Click'

"Hey guys Ty here and today I'm with Tyler, Seto, and Kkcomics! And we are playing good o'l cops n' robbers!"

'Click'

Adam stopped the video, 'Seto? Back on the tube?' Since Adam was not watching anyone's newer post he never knew that Seto had come back to the Web. Infact he would have never known since he's no longer on any social Websites.

"Adam honey dinners ready!"

Adam turned to look at his lovely wife, Aleasa who was holding there little girl.

"Alright be there in a sec!" Adam said with a huge smile on his face. Turning back around, Adam clicked off his screen and walked out the room.

Ty

Laying on his bed, Ty bounced a ball on the wall, making it fly back to him each time.

"Can you stop be a downer and get out once and a while? Like sometimes I think your a vampire with your room so dark like this. Here!" Ty's roommate Jonathan said as he pulled back a curtain.

Ty hissed and jumped back away from the now lit bed, only to make Himself and Jonathan laugh.

"But I don't wanna, I have a lot on my mind!" Ty said sitting up to face John better. Jonathan only rolled his eyes.

"No, your just thinking about that Adam guy! Come on you will feel better if you get some air." Jonathan leaned on the door way and checked his phone. "Plus I'm meeting up with some old friends, you've meet em'!"

"If that Tyler character is going to be there then no way." Ty said, crossing his arms.

Jonathan only laughed and shook his head. "No, but your Tyler will be, and so will Evan, Lui, Martin, Simon, Kyle, and some others." The way Jonathan said 'some others' made Ty have second thoughts. But he only smiled and agreed, because he did need to get out.

Adam

"I'm heading out sweetie, be back later!"

"Ok just don't be to long ok?"

"I won't."

Adam grabbed his keys and headed to his car. Adam was heading up to a local bar to meet up with some friends, he didn't know who would all be there but Tyler said it would be good for him.

*plays music*

The whole way there Adam didn't had one thought about his old friend Ty till this song came on. Adam wanted to change the station but part of him didn't. 'Why this song? It has nothing to do with Ty?' Adam never changed it because he was to busy trying to figure out what this song had to do with his lost friend.

Before Adam could figure out what it was he realized he was at the bar with Tyler and Kyle standing right outside of the door.

*stops music or not whatever*

"Hey!" Adam yelled as he got out of the car.

Ty

Ty had been sitting at the bar counter waiting for Jonathan's 'friend' that he was supposed to meet.

"Why did I do this?" Ty mumbled to himself. Just then someone tapped his shoulder, He turn to find a smiling Tyler and Kyle.

"We have someone you NEED to talk to!" Tyler said with his stupid smile on his face. Moving away Ty saw Someone he had been missing for years. Adam. But it felt to unreal, to much like a dream.

"A-adam?" Ty stutter, making Adam look at him with a shock look on his face.

"Ty!" Adam nearly just jumped over to him, embracing in a long needed hug. 'I could tell him, I could tell him every thing' Ty thought only to remember that he is now married and with a kid. 'Fuck!'

'This could be a long night.'

3rd

As time when on both boys had talked about every thing that had happen after they stop talking. They laughed, yelled, and even cried at one each other. Adam rambled about his life and all the good that had come his way. While Ty talked about the losses he had to go through. Alone.

During this time of catching up both boys lost track of time. Adam was way late to be home, and Ty never realized that his other friends and roommate had been long gone.

About 2:oo am both of the boys where drunk, well really Ty was. Adam could handle a high amount before getting wasted. But since Ty was so drunk he began saying stuff he didn't want to talk about with Adam, not with anyone.

He had come to a point where there was no turing back, he had told Adam about his crush and he knew Adam wasn't drunk enough to forget about it the next day. And Ty wouldn be able to pull it off as just something random he had said, because everyone knows that Ty speaks the truth when drunk.

"You what?" Adam asked in a whisper.

"I- I um... I liked you?" Ty said as if he was asking himself.

"Oh Ty, I wish you had said something sooner."

"Wh-whatch mean?" Ty knew what Adam meant but he didn't want it to be true.

"I used to like you too, but you never seemed to like you were into guys so I never pushed it." Adam was now frowning, wishing he had said something to him.

"I didn't, I'm straight accept for the one acception."

"I was the one acception."

Ty nodded still not looking to his friends gaze.

"Only if we saw it sooner, huh?"

"Only if we saw it sooner!"
