Running foot steps was the only sound that was made as Ty ran through the cave. Making fast and sharp turns. Nothing was going to stop him, not when Adam needed him.

I'm coming I swear!

Ty heard him thanks to his super good hearing. Him being part dragon and all.

Soon the cave began to darken more and more as the path began to shrink. Ty knew he was running out of time.

"Adam!" His voice echoed around him. Where was he? He could no longer smell the buttery smell of his dear friend.

Tears brim in his eyes, if something happens to him.. he would.. he would.. he wouldn't know what to do.

"Adam!" He yelled, hoping, praying he would hear something. Anything.

Suddenly just like that Ty was falling, but he quickly open his wings and took a dive down deeper into the dark cave. No light shown through. Good thing he didn't need light to see.

"Adam!" Ty's voice began to sound weak. Yelling, running, and flying could take one out. If he could only smell him, hear him! Anything would be a good sign at this point; no a great sign.

Even if worst came to worst Ty wanted to at least find his body. Ty stiffen at that thought.

No I must find him, alive.

If only Adam didn't want to go alone, if only he had went with his gut instinct and went with him. If something was to happen, if something did happen, the others would blame him. The guilt would eat at him.

"No, I won't let the happen!" Ty yelled out. Flying faster.

"Adam please!" Ty cried out for the one of many times that night.

Suddenly, like a wave crashing over him, Ty smelled that sweet smell he knew he would never forget. And just as then he heard him.

Adam.

Ty was crying, Adam was alive. For now at least. "Adam I'm hear, please I can't pin-point you."

"T-Ty?" His voice as small, almost not even there. But his heart leapt at just the sound of it. "Ty it's dark."

"I know, I know but I'm hear just keep talking, please."

"T- Ty? How did you know I hurt?" Ty froze up a bit, him and the others didn't know about his dragon side. But none of that matter anymore, only Adam mattered at the moment.

"I'll tell you later," he laughed a bit. "Just keep talking, please."

"Ty, its cold. So very cold."

Oh god please don't say that.

"I'm hear Adam, I'm hear." Ty landed on a rocky path that stuck close to the walls of the cavern. He push a few rocks to the side before finding what he was looking for.

His dear friend.

" Adam." He breathed. His heart sunk and his breath was caught. Adam was a mangled mess, how he was still breathing was beyond him. He didn't want him to be in pain but he was so glad to see him still breathing. Even if it was barely.

Ty bent down on his knees and sobbed, this wouldn't of happened if he just went with him.

I've failed, you and the others. I knew something was wrong but I didn't bother to ask. I didn't bother to follow.

It panged Ty's heart.

Now look, nearly dead because of me.

"I'm so.. sorry." He mumbled through choked sobs.

Even now there was nothing that could be done. Adam was bleeding out and dying with every ticking second. And even if was to go full dragon and bust straight up, there was no real way they could help him now.

"Ty its okay-"

"Its not fucking okay. Your dying and I can't save you."

"But it is."

"How Adam? How?" Tears flowed down his face. But Adam couldn't see that. No, all he could see was darkness.

"Because I don't have to die alone, I don't have to fear about that."

Ty only looked at the dying male.
Alone?

"See I can die knowing that someone knows that I really did die, and not run off or be forever missing."

The dragon hybrid fumbled for his friend hand, grasping it in his own.

"I can die knowing my body was found."

The hand Ty held started to feel cold, all life in it slipped away.

God please let this be a nightmare.

Soon the world around him began to feel cold.

And I still never got to tell him.

Picking up the mangled mess, Ty began to cradled it. As in hopes he would wake up.

Fucking cruel world, this was not the death he deserved.

Opening his wings, Ty took flight, taking off to where he came in.

Why?

For the world's sick game the flight back didn't even seem to take the time it did to find him.

Why him?

Walking up the small windy path, he didn't know how to tell the others. Tell them or just walk straight up to the house.

I loved him.

Soon sunlight had found his eyes. Making him hold on to the body tighter.

But you took that all away.

Once outside Ty fell to the ground. Nothing was to be the same ever again. Not ever.

Ty heard voices not far from him. His friends, he should have know they would have come too. Little to late though.

The dragon teen only sat there, sobbing once more. He didn't care about anything anymore. Not his form, not his crying tears, not even blood stained clothes. Instead he clung to Adam's lifeless body and cried.

I'm going to miss you.
