Chapter 4

Location: Theta System

John was viewing out of a large glass pane window, he was overseeing the new base being constructed. He watched as the sentinels worked in controlled chaos and saw the buildings being materialized and cloaking tech being installed. He sighed then walked back to his desk. He began to review over the reports, they were all just construction progress along with catalogs of the local wildlife. This galaxy had been promising, to be honest when he found out that humans lived in this galaxy he wasn't surprised at all. He knew that the chances of them naturally developing were pretty high, due to it simply seems unlikely that the Precursors seeded them because indications show that the humans in this galaxy have only existed for around 10,000-20,000 years. If that were the case then it would mean the Precursors were not extinct as they thought they would be. It would also mean they are still out there seeding like in to the universe. But another reason why was because the humans technological and biological advancement was much different. The reason they could conclude to that was because in every other galaxy the Precursors seeded humans into, it was on Earth. And in that galaxy the humans followed almost the exact same technological path as they did up until the 20 or 21st century. But the chances of that happening were one in a quintillion but then the multiverse did hold endless possibilities, even if it was confusing. His thoughts were interrupted when he received a report stating that the agents have successfully infiltrated the planet and made contact with the locals. Good he thought to himself phase one is now in progress.

Unknown Pov

The agents have begin to consolidate their power and influence within this planet and have now began to unify the planet for the galaxy. It was a slow process but humanity has learned long ago that patience is the key to success. As the unification process the agents proceeded to assassinate, blackmail, and bribe people to silence. To most it would seem horrifying and cruel but the more logical ones simply see it as a necessary evil for the unification. After all even if no one knew it was the way ONI operated. ONI was the perfect intelligence branch you could have. If overseen by a government it could be used as a saving grace from many political issues, intelligence gatherings, black ops, assassinations, counter intelligence operations, infiltration and much more. But it could also be the harbinger of destruction. But nonetheless that is besides the point what matters is that the unification process would be complete in around 5 years.

Agent 7 Pov 

Agent 7 was currently in face to face with his former Sith Master Darth Malak. "Darth Malak", Agent 7 acknowledged. "Traitor" he spits back, "I did not betray anyone". "If your memories were gone I would've believed you but even after your memories return you still choose to side with the Jedi" Malak says. "I choose to side with the Jedi not because I believe in their teachings but because they are the lesser of the two evils" Agent 7 replied. "And yet you wield the lightsaber of a Jedi" Malak retorts. "I wield the Jedi but that doesn't mean it makes me a Jedi, both Jedi and Sith are corrupted. You all believe to follow the Will of the Force blinded by what you think the Force wills you to do. But in reality it is your own interpretation of the Force, there is no such thing as the Light or Dark side of the Force it is simply something that sapient life has created. For example trees, they are the living embodiment of the Force unbiased and a extension of the Living Force they are evil nor good, it is merely how the person interprets it. The Force is a living thing inside of us, it is a tool that is to be used not to be influenced by." "Lies!" Malak spits "What kind of things have the Jedi told you Darth Revan?". "I no longer go by Darth Revan just simply Revan, I wish to move on with my life no point in living in the past." "Then so be it" Malak says as he ignited his lightsaber and sprinted towards Agent 7. Agent 7 seeing as his mission here is accomplished uses Force Protection to create a dome of energy around himself to deflect Darth Malak's attacks. Agent 7 then proceeds to send a request for evac. The request is followed right as Malak's lightsaber broke through the bubble. Agent 7 dodged the attack then proceeded to duck and flip over Darth Malak. Darth Malak turned then advanced on Agent 7, proceeded to dodge the oncoming attacks with such speed that even Malak was shocked. Agent 7 finally let out a mighty  Force Push catching Malak of guard and sending him flying back towards the end of the hallway. "Fight me coward!" Malak growls. "There will be no need" as Agent 7 said that 5 more Agents decloaked 4 behind Malak and 1 next to Agent 7. "Phase 2 of Operation: Contact may now begin" Agent 7 says, the agents then pull out their guns. "What are you going to do with a bunch of primitive slugthrowers?" Malak says in a mocking tone. "Eliminate target" Agent 7 replies. Malak begins to form another sentence but never got to finish it as the bullets soared at 45.78% speed of light and penetrated his skull effectively killing him. "Target eliminated, set the charge" Agent 7 instructed. The agents pulled a WDM out of its pocket in space and set the timer to 10 minutes, giving them more than enough time to evacuate. They beamed out of the Star Forge and on to the cloaked prowler then entered hyperspace.
