Today was Phil's birthday, I was pleased that it was. I've been thinkin of what to get Phil for his birthday and I finally have. I wanted him to be my.... boyfriend. I couldn't wait until tonight. Everything was planned. A surprise birthday party with friends and family. I also found the Phil was gay... I found out when I went to see his mum and dad to ask them to come to his party. I felt so happy inside that day. Phil already knew I was gay as I told him when I felt confident enough. Anyway... I have to find something to wear for the occasion, but what? I guess I should wear something less black as it was for Phil but I didn't have much. So I guess I probably had to wear black. But he won't mind. It was already 5:00 PM and the party was 2 hours away. I had to get to the 'secret location' know as Phil's parents house as they let me have his party there. I had to get out of the flat without him questioning me.
I got dressed and rushed to the door when I got stopped by Phil. "Dan, where you going?" I had to lie I couldn't have him knowing. "Um, I'm going to see my mum. I asked her to come round here, so can catch up with what she has done for the past months I haven't been there for." Phil respected that, "OK. How long you'll be back?", I replied, "Um probably a few hours... I'll call you if it's urgent or if I just wanna talk. OK?" Phil nodded. I left the flat, quickly stepped down the stairs to get out of the building to call Phil's parents noting them that I was on the way.
I arrived at Phil's parents house and walked in knowing it was unlocked and I fell into amazement. I could help but gasp. I saw all the decorations; streamers every where, a well decorated banner saying 'Happy Birthday Phil', the unfinished cake still like beautiful; 3 cakes, 1 on top of each other getting smaller. I couldn't wait for it to be finished. Everything was perfect.
