Dan - The Suprise!

I get a call from Phil saying to go to the abandon park. Sounds creepy, but he said trust me. And I do. I trust him with all my heart. I went to my room to find something to wear to impress Phil. But I don't know what to wear exactly. I look in my wardrobe to find a selection of colours. Who am I kidding, I just had black clothes. So let's go for something black. I grabbed my jacket and texted Phil.

D- Hey Philly, leaving the apartment. You have the keys right?

P- Yeah I have the keys. I hope you love the surprise!

D- Of course I will Phil. Love you. See you in a bit x

P- Love you bye x

I closed the apartment door and walked down the massive pile of stairs. I leave the building and start walking to the abandon park which wasn't that far from here. I arrive at the entrance of the park. I texted Phil;

D- I'm at the entrance of the park. Are you going to lead me to the surprise.

P- I'm on my way to the entrance.

I stay at the entrance, playing on my phone while waiting for Phil. I hear someone from a distance calling my name. "Dan. Dan! There you are. How long have you been waiting here?" I turn around to see a casual looking Phil. I go up to him and give him a hug. "Only 5 minutes. Not long. I wonder what the surprise is. I've been eager to know since you told me." He gave me a grin and moved my hair out of my face and back in my fringe. Then plants a kiss on my lips. "I'm going to take you to the surprise, BUT... you need to close your eyes. It wouldn't be a surprise if your eyes are open." I close my eyes. I feel my hand intertwine with Phil's hand. It seems like we've been walking for ages. But, I guess it was only a couple minutes. We then come to a hault. Phil let's go of my hand. "Now open your eyes!" I open my eyes and I was astonished. It was beautiful. He was beautiful. "Phil. I love it so much. I can't believe you did this. It's amazing. The picnic, the fairy lights and the scenery. I love you so much." I give him a long hug and big kisses. He went through all this trouble for me. "I did this for you Dan. I love you too." He returns with a big hug and a kiss. "Let's sit down." I sit down near the picnic basket and Phil sits next to me. He opens the picnic basket and I peer inside. He got everything I loved. Indian Food, Chocolate, Sweets and MALTEASERS. "Phil. You got everything I like. Thank you. I love this surprise. Just out of curiosity, why did you do this? Not being mean but like was there a reason for it?" Phil looks into my eyes. "I did this surprise because I was grateful that you did that surprise birthday party and I wanted to repay you with this. That's why." I planted a kiss on Phil's cheek. "You really didn't have to do this. Saying yes to being my boyfriend. That's all I needed." I laid my head on his shoulder. Phil kissed the top of my head. "I love you, Dan." "I love you too Phil."

Hey guys.
I'm pretty impressed with this chapter. I hope you guys like it too. Just to let you know 'Am I Alone?' story is still a work in progress, meaning I haven't wrote anything. I've been stressing everyday now. School doesn't help. Parents evening this afternoon was alright but just got me more stressed to see what my teachers said. Good responses but it didn't ease. Ive realised that most of my chapter have been published at night. It's just school then YouTube then reading a bit of Connor Franta's 'A Work In Progress' book. It's a great book, I'm half way through. I love it.
