━━━ KYOUKA JIROU ALWAYS ASPIRED TO BE A HUNTRESS.

The thought of saving people always appealed to Kyouka. At first, it was just a mere thought but the older she got, the more she started to work hard on becoming a Huntress. 

Her parents were musicians.  They taught her music and thanks to them, Kyouka has found her way around a couple of instruments. Even though she had an excellent relationship with her parents, when she was young, Kyouka felt pressured into wanting to be a Huntress since her parents desire her to become a musician. But she knew she couldn't stay silent forever. She called her parents over and stated that she had something important to say.

"Mom, Dad, I want to be a Huntress. I'm not going to become a musician, I'm sorry..." Kyouka apologized. Her voice was shaky, as she let her bangs cover her eyes.

"Did you think we'd be upset?" Kyouka's dad leaned forward to ruffle her hair, "Come on, kid."

"It's just, It was to decide. Helping out others, and making them happy, it just seemed so cool! I've always admired it. But you taught me music, and I didn't want to waste that either." She responded as her voice slightly cracked, as she wiped away her tears, "Because I love music too, so I don't know what to do."

"Kyouka, you can do whatever you want." Her dad assured, "Just remember this; your mom and I became musicians 'cuz that's our great love but this stuff could take a while. You have to pay attention to how things make you feel."

"Choosing a career is a big decision," Her mom chimed in, "And you have some good options, maybe you can help others with your sound. In that sense, musicians and huntress aren't too different, right?" She placed her hand over her chest as she winked.

Kyouka smiled and wiped away a tear, "Thanks mom, dad." She smiled as her parents smiled back.

Ever since then, Kyouka has been working hard to become a huntress, with the help of her parents. She had already found her semblance at the time however didn't think it would be useful for offense, so she stuck to defense. After all, with a Semblance that allows you to manipulate sounds, there isn't much you can do besides blasting someone's ear with a loud sonic boom or pushing them away slightly. Even then, she was fine with her Semblance. Kyouka applied for Signal and started to attend the Academy, where she forged her own weapon and began to learn the basics of Grimm, gear equipment, and everything she needs to know to become a Huntress. She was doing great with her progress, as she started to learn how to put her semblance to use.

Unfortunately, throughout her time, Kyouka didn't try to make a friend, she only saw the people around her as acquaintances, nothing more. Something that Kyouka never understood was why some people mistreated and hated Faunus merely for their appearance and race. They never did anything wrong, yes, some of them broke the rules and such however that shouldn't define how every Faunus acts. Kyouka never liked it, and as much as she wanted to avoid the people, she knew she had to stick up for the Faunus whenever they were treated horribly. Even then, some people just didn't change their views, and Kyouka had to accept that unfortunate reality. Life was just like that.

She kept pushing herself until she graduated from Signal Academy and her parents were very proud. Right after graduating from Signal Academy, Kyouka applied for Beacon Academy and patiently waited to see if she was accepted or not. The letter came in after a month and when she read it, her eyes widened. She quickly ran towards where her parents were and informed them of the news.

She was accepted to Beacon Academy. She was happy about the news, and from that day forward, was going to do her best to become the greatest Huntress.
