the age of fourteen years old, explored the cliffside, looking for Grimm that their village townspeople spotted. They were sent to kill the Grimm since, at any moment, the Grimm can spot the village and cause destruction to their village.

"Ugh! Where are they!?" Kai shouted, annoyed, "We were told they were here so where are they!? And why me? Couldn't have they picked someone else to do this job?"

"Calm down," [Y/N] responded, "We were chosen because everyone back at the village knows we can handle this."

"Huh? You really think so?" Kai asked.

"Well, yeah! Plus you have me." [Y/N] smiled and Kai smiled back, "Stay quiet, and try to listen for anything." 

Kai nodded and did what he was told. [Y/N] stayed quiet as Kai observed his surroundings for any noises. His ears perked up as he heard rustling from his left side.

"I heard something! Over there!" He exclaimed, pointing to a nearby cliffside.

"Alright, let's go!"

Both kids ran toward the cliffside and noticed a pack of Beawolfs in the area. The Beawolfs caught the duo and surrounded them.

"Watch out!" [Y/N] cried.

Kai and [Y/N] jumped back and drew their weapons. Two wolfs rushed and attacked. Kai jumped into the air and begin shooting one of the Beawolfs with his sniper rifle while [Y/N] wrapped their chains around the Grimm and used their scissor blade to cut the Grimm in half. Two more rushed toward them. [Y/N] wrapped their chains around the closest one and Kai began shooting, which cleft it in half, while the one farther away got hit by Kai's sniper rifle. A Beawolf suddenly appeared out of nowhere, giving the duo a surprise attack. They narrowly block the attack with their weapons. [Y/N] drew back their scissor blade before throwing it, slicing the Beawolf in half.

"Kai, are you okay?" They asked.

"Yeah..." He responded.

Just then a Beowolf launched itself to attack [Y/N] and Kai but they were too quick for it. [Y/N] jumped towards the Grimm and decapitated it before sending it back with a kick. While Kai was in mid-air, they gave the Beowolves below them multiple shots of bullets before reloading it again and continuing.

"One more left!" [Y/N] shouted.

Kai swiftly entered and utilizes his sniper rifle to its entirety to destroy the last Beowolves with multiple shots.

"That's all of them!" Kai exclaimed, pumping his fist into the air, "Thanks for helping me [Y/N]! 

[Y/N] smiled, "See? It'd be easy but you're welcome."

"Alright, time to go home!"

Both kids sprinted back to their village as fast as they could, doing anything that was in their path as they held their weapons close to them. Once in range of the people of the village, Kai shouted,

"We're back!"

"Ah, how did it go?" One of them asked. She was a woman with dark hair.

"We've killed them off!" [Y/N] exclaimed, "So we don't have to worry about anything!"

The women chuckled, "The two of you would make great Huntress and Huntsman." 

"You think so?" [Y/N] asked.

"Of course, you and Kai would make a great team."

Kai grew embarrassed as he looked to the side, "I-I think I'll be fine staying here to help. What about you [Y/N]?"

"I'll become a huntress!" [Y/N] declared.

"Really? Well, then I'll support you!" Kai assured.

The woman smiled, "I'm sure you'll become a huntress. The village will support you, I'm sure of it."

[Y/N] smiled, "Thanks! Come on, Kai, I'll have to start training!" The girl grabbed the Faunus's wrist and started to drag him towards their house.

"Wah-! Hey!" He yelled, trying to release [Y/N]'s grip. He gave up and let out a sigh as [Y/N] giggled.

Even though both kids didn't get along at times they were happy to know they had each other by their sides.
