━━━ [Y/N] AND JIROU WALKED THROW THE STREETS OF VALE,

as they headed over to the CCT Tower. They decided to scout even more but after getting the same results, they gave up and headed to the main track toward the CCT Tower.

'Weiss, Ruby, and Naoto should have some information on what's going on.'  [Y/N] thought, 'Knowing Yang, Mammon, and the others should be fine in the shady part of Vale.'

A light-bulb moment occurred to [Y/N]. They pulled out their scroll and contacted Naoto. The line rang for a few seconds before Naoto picked up.

Naoto seemed slightly surprised before talking, "[Y/N], how are things going on your side?"

"Not well, Jirou and I weren't able to find anything strange,"

"We tried asking people however that didn't work," Jirou spoke up.

"What about you?" [Y/N] asked.

"Weiss and I managed to get information but..."

"But what?" Jirou asked intently.

"Ruby ran off somewhere, Weiss and I are looking for her,"

[Y/N]'s eyes widened, "Are you serious? We'll be there in a few minutes,"

"Very well then, we'll meet the two of you outside the CCT building," With that Naoto finished the call.

"Let's go, Jirou!" [Y/N] yelled as they began running toward the CCT building.

Inside an alleyway, Penny and Ruby are talking amongst each other.

"Penny, I—I don't understand," Ruby stammered out.

"Most girls are born, but I was made. I'm the world's first synthetic person capable of generating an Aura. I'm not real..." Penny explained.

Ruby took Penny's hand in her own. She opened them, revealing the scratches before closing Penny's fingers together.

"Of course you are. You think just because you've got nuts and bolts instead of squishy guts makes you any less real than me?" Ruby questioned.

"I don't... Uhm... You're takings this extraordinarily well," Penny said.

"You're not like those things we saw back there. You've got a heart and soul; I can feel it!"

"Ooooh... Oh, Ruby. You're the best friend anyone could have!" Penny grabbed Ruby into a hug and shook her back and forth.

"I can see why your father would want to protect such a delicate flower," Ruby pointed out.

Penny released Ruby and she goes back to her happy self.

"Oh, he's very sweet! My father's the one that built me! I'm sure you would love him!" Penny smiled.
