(Techno's POV)

The next few days were spent over adding little ideas to the dangerous endeavour that we were both about to attempt.

We sent Purpled a letter, explaining our plan and what he had to do. He had replied, saying that he understood, and would meet us at L'Manberg.

I had also had the idea of summoning an army of wolves, (a/n: or dogs, whatever you wanna call them) so most of our days were spent hunting for a spruce forest. We already had a huge stock of bones, so taming them wasn't a problem.

After me and Quackity had found one, which was surprisingly far away, we tamed two, one each, of which we dyed their collars of our own colour.

We collected a lot of meat and we bred them both. After a long count, Quackity had told me that there were 61 wolves in total.

And then finally, the day of the banquet had arrived, and we went over the plan once more, for the very last time.

"Kay, so we travel over to L'Manberg, and well, we sneak into the banquet. Then Bad will make his speech and stuff and will trap everyone attending inside or so. I'm pretty sure he's going to kill them all for energy for that stupid Egg, but we have to at least let them kill someone. Then you go out and tell him to stop what he's doing- to- to give him a chance, though I'm sure all that power's consumed Bad and he won't, and if he says no then you face him, and then me and Purpled come out. Then hopefully there'll be the element of surprise, and maybe we can make them retreat. Afterwards, we can lead all the people to safety and block off the Egg with obsidian, so none of this happens again," I said, looking at Quackity for consent.

"Yes, that's the plan," he said, nodding. I collected my armour and handed his armour to him as well. I glanced up at him. This could be the last moment we would see each other.

I immediately brushed the thought away. I won't let anything happen - to me or him; nothing will happen, we'll both be fine, I told myself, sheathing my sword, Orphan Obliterator. I wondered why I cared about Quackity so much, but I brushed this thought away again.

We both looked each other in the eye, and we set off for L'Manberg.

(Third Person)

Quackity and Techno arrived at L'Manberg a few hours later and Technp breathed a sigh of relief. It had been weeks since he had seen this place.

We met up with Purpled, who was already geared up with a sword and axe at his hip.

Techno saw the people entering Bad's basement. George, Eret, HBomb, Hannah, Niki, Foolish, Sam, Fundy and Puffy herself, all of them wearing elegant red clothes.

"You didn't have to do this Bad," Techno murmured to himself. He splashed all of them with an invisibility potion he and Quackity had brewed earlier, and looked to his left. All Techno saw were sheathed swords floating mid air, which showed him that his plan had worked.

They all sneaked inside the basement, where they found there was an underground pathway underneath. Techno noticed that all the Crimson had grown over the floor and ceiling, and looked at it with deep disgust.

Techno, Quackity and Purpled walked over to the wall just behind the Egg, where there was a little crack to walk through. We had decided that this was where Quackity would make his entrance.

He could hear Bad saying his speech, and hatred boiled up in Techno, knowing what he was about to do.

"I really appreciate you all coming, again, uh, I think this is the perfect opportunity for us, us, as a server, as a community to come together, and, and honestly, just let bygones be bygones. To let any past issues, to set them aside, so that we can, we can grow and advance from this point forward because while there have been bumps along the way, in the spirit of, you know, moving things forward, I would just like to say that I was very, very happy that we were able to gather everybody here, together, for what is, I'm sure, going to be a banquet that... none of us... are ever... going... to... forget. And... yeah! Thank you for coming everybody!"

Techno grimaced.

"And yeah, prepare to die," Bad laughed, drinking a bottle of water.

Lava flowed everywhere, blocking all exits; all except for the Egg.

Puffy was mad; she had put faith in her friends and they had betrayed her once more.

She walked over to the middle of the banquet table, pulled up the tablecloth and opened a concealed chest.

"WHAT?" Captain Puffy screamed, finding nothing in the chest that had been ever so carefully hidden and stashed with diamond armour and weapons.

In response, Bad pulled out some armour and wore it, which Puffy recognised as the armour she had assigned Hannah to put in the chest.

Hannah walked over to the Eggpire's side, putting on her armour as she did so.

"HANNAH?" Sam said, realisation finally hitting him.

"I heard everything," she said simply. They could all see the red in her eyes as she stared at them with contempt.

"But Bad... I had one last plan..."

Sam, not wanting to make matters worse, ran over to the Egg and planted TNT on top, lighting it swiftly with a flint and steel.

"NO!" Bad screamed.

Sam stood in confusion as the TNT exploded loudly, leaving no trace of destruction on the Egg, which still glowed brightly.

"WHAT?" said Sam.

"You really thought you could defeat the Egg with TNT? After Quackity tried that, we took proper preparations, and we made it so that we wouldn't have to worry about TNT anymore," Bad said, his scream only being to raise the tension.

"Now if you would all kindly please make your way over here we can- uh, we can begin the summary executions," smiled Bad, walking over to the Egg, no trace of regret on his face.

"The- WHAT?" screamed Puffy.

Before anyone could say anything, Bad started talking.

"You see, the Egg needs something, and it's gonna get it from each of you. See, in order for the Egg to hatch, it needs... Energy. And it gets that energy by people dying near it. And that's the role that you guys are gonna fill!" he said, saying the last sentence with an air of happiness.

"You're a monster..." Eret whispered, an angry look on his face.

"We're gonna kill you one by one-" Bad paused, hearing Eret. "Oh! What did you just say, Eret?"

"You're an absolute monster. How could you? Like... We- we all trusted you, Bad!" Eret said.

"Trust?! Okay, Eret. Keep talking. Keep talking about trust." Ponk, smirking.

"...that was a long time ago. I've changed since then, I know not to break people's trust anymore!" Eret said; everyone did know he had changed his former ways

"Y'know what... I think... Uh, I think, Eret, you would be the perfect person... to sacrifice first!" Bad said, laughing in a laugh that did not suit him.

Meanwhile, behind the wall, the trio were getting ready.
