(Techno's POV)
"Guys, we need to do something. We need to fight tyranny, and make a group to do it."
We were all meeting in my cabin, me, Niki, Phil and of course, Quackity.
"Are we going to make a group then?" Niki asked.
"Yeah, we should. I think we should remain secret though," I added, looking around for consent, and everyone nodded.
"We are against the government, so we have no leader, agreed?" I said. Everyone nodded once more.
"Code names?"
"Well, why don't we base it off Greek gods? Their names always mean a lot. I'll be Nemesis, who's the god of revenge," Niki explained.
"I'll be Harpocrates- the god of silence. I'd rather not be known as a member, if- if that's okay?"
"Sure Quackity," I nodded.
"Phil? Do you have a name?"
"Yeah, I'll be Zephyrus, that means the god of the west wind."
"And- we need a name. As a group"
"Syndicate..." muttered Quackity.
"What?" asked Phil.
"The Syndicate. We can name it the syndicate," Quackity said in a louder voice, looking up.
"All in favour of the name Syndicate?"
Everyone raised their hands.
"Well. We have a name. The Syndicate"

Niki had left, and Philza was about to leave, but before he did, he whispered to me.
"Good luck, buddy."
I blushed and whispered, "Shut up, old man."
He merely chuckled and left. I shut the door behind him, and saw Quackity absorbed in a book.
My gaze softened as I glanced at him.
God, why was he so cute? I thought to myself. No. shut up.
He unglued his eyes from his book and looked up at me.
"What were you and Phil talking about?"
"Nothing," I said.
"I guess I'm not going to find out then, right?" he said softly.
"I don't know... You might?" I said, my heart beating faster.
"Hey Techno, can I ask you something?" Quackity asked, breaking the silence.
"Sure."
"You know, at the Red Banquet, you said I was- I was your greatest enemy. Was I still your enemy then?" he said, waiting for my reaction.
"No," I said, taken aback by this question. "You were never my enemy."
Quackity folded the top of the page he was reading, shut the book and set it down on the table.
"So we're friends?" he prompted.
"You're more than my friend Quackity."
"W-What do you mean?" he stuttered.
Do I tell him...?
"Uhh- I-I- Fuck..." I held my face in my hands, hiding my embarrassed yet lovesick expression. Hopeless thoughts flooded my mind. What would he say? How would he react? What if he never talked to me again? I couldn't cope with that.
