His biggest nightmare seemed so real. Tony was sweating inside of his suit, trying to distract his mind from the horror. He just saw all of his friends, dead, because of him. His heartbeat was increasing as he flew through the halls of the abandoned HYDRA base. The only thing Tony could hear was his heavy breathing over the echoing of his thrusters. The hall was dark and abandoned, but there were files littered everywhere. JARVIS scanned for any important information or possible threats. He was going to make sure whatever he saw was to never happen in real life. Ideas were already forming in his head, and nothing was going to stop Tony Stark from making it a reality.

Suddenly JARVIS broke the silence, "Sir, I'm reading a heat signature up ahead." He spoke to Tony. "It appears to be one figure in the cell up on your right."

"Copy that J. Are they alive?"

"Yes sir. I'm not locating any weapons, their breathing rate indicates that they are sleeping."

A prisoner? Tony landed right in front of the cell JARVIS had told him they were in. It wasn't like the other cells that looked like prisoners were held. He looked through the glass panel, glancing around the room. It looked like a room for the mentally insane, the padded walls were dirty, the cleanliness long gone. The only thing that stood out in the room, was a young girl sleeping in the corner. Her dark hair draped over her face, making it difficult for Tony to get a facial scan. He opened the door, the lights flickering above.

"Team I found a live one." Tony spoke into the coms.

Natasha shot down the men in front of her before responding, "Hostile?"

"No, she's unconscious, possibly a prisoner. I'm bringing her and the scepter."

"You sure that's a good idea Stark?" Steve questioned throwing his shield towards the trees.

"Better than leaving her there to die," Clint muttered, in pain.

"We will meet you back at the jet." Thor ended the brief argument.

Tony entered the padded room the girl slept in. Her chest heaved up and down at a slow rate. He picked her up bridal style, looking down at her. Her tan skin was matched with her sable hair. Her skin was covered in dirt and soot, but the crease between her eyebrows made it seem like she was thinking hard. Tony started to fly out of the room as she muttered incoherent words to herself.

"....Spirit...."

".....Avatar......."

".....No, no, no........" She kept repeating to herself.

"Mr. Stark, my results are inconclusive on the facial scan."

None of it made sense to Tony. He didn't care about what she was saying, but she sounded frightened. Whatever HYDRA did to her, they were going to have to keep a close eye on her.

"That's alright J, we can keep her safe and far from HYDRA."
