emma despised the window seat. the cold air slipping through the cracks of the window giving her goosebumps. the teacher constantly asking her to open and/or close it. she hated it all. hell, even to say that was an understatement.
yet she had to sit in it everyday.
thankfully, after much pleading, her teacher agreed to switch her seat. only thing was, she'd have to wait until next week. the end of her time being exactly one week later, on monday.
she allowed a sigh escape her lips as she fixed her gaze on the students below, leaving mr. kaios instructions to fade into the background. despite the fact that it was so packed, one curly-haired girl stood out the most.
the way her curls bounced as she ran, was like no other. the way the girl flawlessly dogged the ignorant teens as they blocked her way was a skill that needed practice.
she was sure that nobody could do it how that girl does. resting her head on her palm she started to think. why was she running? would she see her again?
and indeed she did. because over the next four days, the intriguing girl skipped classes on a regular basis. that's what emma thought, at least. she'd never seen the girl at school before, so this was her only chance to catch a glimpse of her... crush? she, too, has no idea.
she actually was starting to like the window seat. too bad she'd have to leave it next week.
