TRANSCENDENTAL. (The remake!)

Bait.

The duo wake up early as they grab their bags, throwing them in the trunk as they go to an easy place, grabbing some breakfast.
They eat their food as they head to an area pretty far from where they were at, where people had been disappearing.
The most they could come up with, is demon.
Lena was more than scared to go up against a demon, but Anthony tried telling her differently..
He seemed.. More than happy to kill a demon, he seems thrilled... Excited almost.

He had this smile on his face, the whole ride to the place, giving her the chills..
On the way to the city, a girl was seen walking around in nothing more than a dirty white dress.
"Oh.. Wait.. Let's get her home first."
Ant pulled over, walking out of his car as Lena did the same, walking to the girl who seemed to be her age.

"Excuse me..? Are you lost..?"
Lena says, waving a hand over her face as she finally looks at them.
"Umm.. Yes, yes I am.. Can you take me home? Please??"
Anthony pulls his wallet out as he handed her at least 40 dollars.
"Thank you.."
"Anytime, here.."
Anthony opens the back door as he gets in, waiting for everyone.
Then he turns the car on, the engine purring as he starts driving, the girl giving him directions.

He stops at the place as everyone gets out, then he looks to the girl.
Then Lena spoke up,
"will you be alright, miss?"
She looks to the girl, smiling as the girl slowly walks away.
"Yes.. But you won't be."
Anthony and Lena looked to eachother in confusion, then Lena's eyes went wide.
"ANTHONY, BEHIND YOU!"
she yelled as ant went to draw his gun out, then he was knocked out flat.
He reaches his hand out, seeing nothing but blur, seeing lena struggle against some guys.
"Don't.. Touch her.."

An hour later.
Lena and Anthony wake up, their hands tied to a pipe somewhere.. Anthonys eyes adjusted to the darkness as he looks to lena.
"Lena.."
She turns her head, as she coughs a bit.
"Ant..?"
"Yeah, I'm here- how are you, did they do anything to you?"
"they hit me really hard, and then they tied me really tight to this pole thingy.. My wrists hurt.. Anthony, I'm scared.. I'm scared, I don't want to die here, those people are scary, please.."
Tears fell from her eyes as Anthony witnessed lena being scared out of her life.

"Oh I am so going to kill them.."
Anthony moved his hands to see which one was tied, when he found out his right hand was, he leaned in and started biting at the rope, twisting his arm in the process to try and escape.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you."
Everyone stopped in their tracks as Anthony's eyes darted to where he heard the voice,
He saw the girl as he leaned his head down, tsking a bit as he chuckled.
"I give you what I have.. Then drive you home, and the thanks we get is getting tied up, and being the number one meal for whatever the fuck y'all are."
"Vampires.."
A man walks out, smiling to Anthony and Lena, crouching to meet their height as he smelled ant deeply.
He then grabs a knife, slicing a cut on ants free arm as he grabs it, licking the blood off as Anthony groaned, looking away.

"I've always hated vampires.."
The vampire stops, swishing the blood around in his mouth as he spits out, hissing in the process.
"What's wrong, Ben-?"
The girl asked as the vampire, presumed to be Ben walked back from Anthony, looking at him oddly.
"His blood.. His blood is.. It's.."
Anthony ripped the ropes off as he punches Ben, taking a pocket knife he had his eyes on from Ben's pocket.
He starts cutting the rope that restrained lena as the girl jumped on him.
He struggled to get out, then he grabbed her, flipping her over to face him as he knocked her out cold, placing her somewhere safely, ripping the ropes from Lena's wrist.

"Vampires die when their heads get cut off, so we need to get a machete."
Anthony hands the pocket knife off to lena as they bolt out, going to the impala that they left as well, opening the trunk, grabbing machetes.
Lena throws the purple pocket knife in the trunk as she waits for ant.
Ant closed the trunk, walking back in, a walk that kinda seemed like he was out for blood, a walk that showed he was angry.

They walk in as more vampires show up.
"Look at what you did to our nest.."
One of the vampire says, hissing to lena and ant.
"Calm down there, Shela.. Your, emotions are showing."
Ant says, as Lena laughs a bit, then Anthony started laughing as well.. It was awkward to say the least, two hunters laughing their asses off when trying to sound cool.
"Hold on hold on, we need a minute.."
Lena wheezed, holding her stomach as some vampires lunged at them.

Anthony swung his machete quickly as a head came rolling.
Lena did the same as someone grabbed her from behind.
She secures the grip as she kicks another vamp hardly, the one behind her running into a wall, his back hitting a nail as he let's go of her, she swings the blade at the one to the wall, and the one that ran at her.
Their heads came rolling as ant swung at the last one, putting the machete away as he runs to the girl, picking her up as they run in their car.

Needless to say, they took her to the hospital, leaving before they brought in police.. They left because wherever police are they usually start asking questions, and they didn't have time to be brought in for murder.
They drive away as Anthony and Lena start laughing and cheering.
"Saved a person! Killed a nest of vamps!! I can call that a win-"
"HECK YES!!! That felt AMAZING!"
They cheered to themselves and whistled, treating themselves to some horrible greasy food with dessert.
"So, I found an interesting case.. A man two places at once, what do you think?"
"Yeah! That sounds awesome!!"
