COS:MIC is a seven member dance team that is filled with girls. There is obviously Jieun, Beom, and Yin who had created the team. Later on, they would recruit four more people. There was Yeojin, who was a fashion designer. She was responsible for the outfits they would wear when they were busking. Sumi was a waitress and did photography on the side. She would take any pictures needed for the group. Chaewon was in school for psychology and was a babysitter on the side. Lastly, there was Hyerin. She was working at a bookstore.
They all stood there, definitely waiting for the other three to arrive. They had cleared out a big enough space to dance. Sumi had brought the speaker and microphone they use in order to have the crowd hear them.
"We had to wait until Beom got off," Yin told the others.
"I figured," Yeojin said. "What dance do you want to do first?" She was crouching on the ground as she scrolled through the phone that held the songs they normally danced to.
"Let's do a cover first, " Jieun signed.
Beom translated what she said to the other dancers. Although they've known each other for a while, none of them have learned sign language. That doesn't mean that Jieun doesn't consider them as friends, but it did make communication harder.
"Alright, that will attract people before we dance to some of our own dances," Yeojin agreed.
Yin enjoys dancing probably more than anyone on the dance team. She's been dancing longer than all of them. With that experience, she has choreographed numerous dances for the team. They'll use them all the time whenever they have a busking event.
Yin being a badass herself, she loves dancing to hip hop or harder hitting songs. Her dance reflects that aspect.
They head off somewhere else in order to change into the outfits Yeojin brought. The theme is while and silver. Every member had on a different piece of clothing that matches everyone else.
Jieun wore a white crop top with straps as the sleeves. Her skirt was metallic silver as it hung a couple of inches above her knees. A silver chain was used as a belt as the tip hung down to the side.
Beom was also getting everyone a little bit of makeup on. She loves trying out different styles and colors whenever they're home. She loves doing all of their makeup whenever they allow her to.
When they were done, they left the building and made their way back outside, and stretched out their limbs a little bit in order to get ready to dance well.
Setting up the equipment, the girls got into their positions for the first song, which was 'Dun Dun' by Everglow. This was one of Beom's favorite dances since it wasn't too hard to learn and to do but it still looks badass
Yin was the member to start the dance. She begins stomping her foot right as the music plays. After eight counts, the rest of us join in before spinning making Yeojin center.
After her, the formation spreads out as Chaewon moves into the center position.
The crowd kind of started to form around them, interested in what they were doing. Curious about their performance.
Moving formations again as one foot continues to come up as Jieun comes forward as the other makes a 'V' behind her. She is the only one moving her hand as it flies up before running down the side of her head. Once it reaches her shoulder she flings her hand out to the side before flattening it as her shoulders rock from side to side.
The formation kind of flips as the point of the 'V' is inward now. Hyerin is sitting on the ground while the others stand and continue to hit their arms like banging on a drum before the right hand goes into the air.
