Chapter 41

With Jieun being home again, the girls spent most of their time at the house. The only times when Beom and Yin would leave would be to head out for work. Jieun was on leave for her recovery, but it shouldn't be too long before she would be free to resume working again.

Yin was chilling on the couch as she was scrolling through her phone. Beom and Jieun were in the other room while she was enjoying herself on the couch.

There was one particular video that popped up on her screen that caught her eye. It didn't seem to be an interesting video at first, but the number of views it had kept her intrigued. The intro switched to COS:MIC's performance video they did at the competition. It was going viral on the internet.

She couldn't believe it at first and watched it a few times over and over again before leaping onto her feet and running to her roommates.

"BEOM! JIEUN!" Her voice rang throughout the apartment. "We're going viral on the internet!"

Beom was currently giving Jieun's medication for her when Yin shoved herself into the room. She pushed the phones in their face in order for them to watch the video. She watched their expressions as they viewed the screen.

"Is that us?" Beom asked.

"Yeah, a video that was filmed of us is going viral on the internet right now," Yin explained.

"Read the comments," Jieun signed.

We all flopped down onto the bed together as Yin clicked on the comment section. They gazed across what people were saying about them on the internet.

They have an amazing story behind them and they are such talented performers too.

They deserve all the recognition they can get.

Jieun's story is so encouraging to all the people who are dealing with health problems.

I can't believe that there is someone like me too. I'm cheering for you, Jieun!

All the comments were amazing. They were super supportive of Jieun's story and saw the talent that all the girls had inside of them.

"We have a lot more fans now," Beom said as she read through all the positive comments.

"I have an idea," Yin smirked. The two of them looked over at her wondering what was going on inside her mind. "I say we all gather together and have a busking event tonight. Like a surprise show that we could randomly perform."

They went silent as they thought about the idea. They really haven't been out of the house very much and dancing has been out of the question since their competition. It would be nice to get back into the swing of things and start dancing again.

"What about Jieun? She's got surgery and there is no way I could have her dancing while she is recovering," Beom stated.

"Well, this time Jieun doesn't have to dance. She could be there as moral support. Plus, I think she forgot what the outside world looks like. You've kept her locked up enough."

That comment got Yin a death look as Beom reached over and punched her in the arm. She cradled it like it was broken to be overly dramatic.

"Fine, I'm sure our fans are awaiting our return."

With Beom's agreement, Yin reached out to everyone else about the event. Everyone was in except Chaewon, saying that she was stocked up on schoolwork that needed to get done.

Sumi worked on the post on their Instagram to let fans know where they would be performing tonight. As soon as it went up, many comments were pouring in. They were excited about their return after the huge popularity gain from the competition.
