After the whole Byungho situation, Jieun and Yin decided that they shouldn't stay at his tattoo parlor anymore. They quickly left and started to look for new places to work at. It wasn't long before someone reached out to them. He was so impressed by their previous work that he immediately hired them.
Jieun and Yin both adapted pretty quickly and customers were flooding and were delighted with their work. Many people were coming in wanting to get their work tattooed on them.
Today was a bit slower than normal. Jieun was chilling in her own space as she scrolled through her phone. Only one other customer was in the shop being tattooed by someone else which left Jieun free.
A popup on her phone got her attention. Changbin texted her, asking if she could tattoo something else on him again. With her being so free, she agreed. The male said he was on his way and Jieun started to prep for her upcoming customer.
It was only about ten minutes later that the male came walking into the shop. A bright smile was plastered on his face.
"Your new place looks amazing," he said.
Agreeing with him, she had him sit in the chair before asking where he was wanting this new tattoo.
As soon as she asked, his face grew red. He went silent and looked away for a few moments before replying with, "I want it right here." He pointed to the right side of his chest.
Before starting the process, she had to prep his skin. The male slipped his shirt off as Jieun stare at his toned body. His biceps were ripped with muscles while his upper chest was all very toned. It was down to his stomach where a little belly peeked out.
"Stop staring," Changbin blushed. Realizing she was caught in the act, she diverted her eyes away and gathered her tools.
Something about this tattoo felt different. They weren't strangers anymore, so it felt weird to be working on Changbin's chest.
"What are you wanting to get?" she signed to him.
He began to describe the design he wanted. It was going to be much more than the music note that was on his arm. She showed him some of the designs that she's drawn before and had him pick out the one that he liked the best.
"That one right there is exacting what I wanted," Changbin exclaimed. His eyes started shining as soon as they saw the sketch.
Getting the stencil ready, Jieun carefully placed it on his skin, trying hard not to allow her eyes to trail down. For this session, it felt more awkward as Jieun was almost on top of him as she was working on the tattoo on his chest.
Jieun's hands were barely touching his skin, trying to be a little respectful towards the male. She tried to focus on the design, but her eyes kept wandering up to look at the male's face but quickly went back to focusing on the tattoo when she saw that Changbin was watching her.
"When is your surgery date?" Changbin asked, trying to fill the silence.
"It is actually coming up soon," Jieun responded. "It is terrifying to think about going under and learning how to speak again."
"It is going to be scary to finally fix the problem you've been living with most of your life. But just like you've learned to live through it before, you'll learn to regain your voice back and communicate with others," Changbin encouraged her.
She felt very touched by his response and pulled the male into a hug. He was surprised by the action but wasn't going back out from the affection. She tried to not touch the work she has already done, as she felt his warm embrace.
