Chapter 7: Trouble at Tooth Palace

The sleigh arrived at the Tooth Palace and were immediately met with trouble.

"What?" North breathed in confusion.

Dozens of Nightmares were flying last them and attacking the Palace.

"Whoa!" North tried to steer the sleigh through the stampede.

The Nightmares rode through the sky collecting the little Tooth fairies.

"They're taking the Tooth Fairies!" Jack exclaimed.

(Y/n) pulled out her bow and started shooting at the Nightmares. Jack flew up and grabbed a little Baby Tooth before a Nightmare could. He landed back on the sleigh and opened his hands.

"Hey, little Baby Tooth, you okay?" He asked.

Baby Tooth nodded.

North flew the sleigh down to the palace and passed the reins to Jack. "Here. Take over."

Jack eagerly took the reins and snapped them. North pulled out a sword and slashed a Nightmare causing it to disintegrate. Teeth capsules spilled onto the floor of the sleigh.

"They're stealing the teeth!" Bunny exclaimed.

Sandy looked down at his arm and saw the black sand that was on his sleeve.

"Jack look out!" Jack swerved the sleigh away from a section of the palace and roughly landed the sleigh on the ground.

Tooth was flying around anxiously.

"Tooth! Are you alright?" North called.

"They...They took my fairies. And the teeth! All of them! Everything is gone. Everything." She sobbed.

Baby Tooth popped up from behind Jack and flew to Tooth who gasped.

"Oh, thank goodness. One of you is alright." She sighed.

"I have to say, this is very, very exciting." Pitch's voice rang through the air. "The Big Four, all in one place." He appears on a tower above them. "I'm a little starstruck. Did you like my show on the globe, North? Got you all together, didn't I?"

"Pitch! You have got 30 seconds to return my fairies!" Tooth flew after him, but he disappeared.

"Or what? You'll stick a quarter under my pillow?" Pitch mocked, as he appeared on another tower.

"Why are you doing this?" North asked.

"Maybe I want what you have. To be beloved in. Maybe I'm tired of hiding under beds!"

"Maybe, that's where you belong!" Bunny countered.

Pitch appeared underneath them. "Oh, go suck an egg rabbit."

Bunny swiped at him, but Pitch disappeared before he could reach them.

Jack and (Y/n) had their backs to each other. Jack holding his staff, and (Y/n) aiming her bow.
