Jack, Sandy, and (Y/n) raced after the two Nightmares. Jack was whooping and shouting in excitement and Sandy was smiling. (Y/n)'s expression was more uneasy. She couldn't help but feel that this was too easy. Sandy chased one Nightmare through a building, smashing windows and other things, and when he emerged, he was riding the Nightmare. He touched it with his hand, and the black sand turned gold, and the horse became a stingray.

"Nice job Sandy!" (Y/n) complimented.

Jack chased the other Nightmare along the rooftops. He fired a blast of ice just as it tried to hop over another building and hit it.

"I got it!" Jack exclaimed, racing after it. He leapt on top of the roof where the Nightmare was laying.

"Jack!" (Y/n) called, landing next to him.

"(Y/n) did you see? I got it! Look at this thing." Jack said, poking it with his staff.

"Frost? Cupid?" Pitch said from behind them.

Jack and (Y/n) whirled around and drew there weapons and fired. Pitch dodged them both and disappeared into the shadows.

"You know, for two neutral parties, you spend an awful lot of time with those weirdos. This isn't your fight." Pitch said, from a higher rooftop.

"You made it our fight when you stole those teeth!" (Y/n) replied.

"Why, whatever do you mean, dear?"

"Don't call her that! And give back the teeth you stole!" Jack demanded.

"Teeth? Why do you two care about teeth?" Pitch asked.

Pitch suddenly felt a presence next to him and looked to his left and saw Sandy glaring at him. Pitch gasped and jumped away from him.

"Now this is who I'm looking for." Pitch laughed. "No offense, (Y/n). You know I'm always happy to see you."

Sandy suddenly pulled out to sand whips and started attacking Pitch. Pitch dodged the attacks, and made a scythe out of black sand and swung it at Sandy. Sandy dodged Pitch's swings and wrapped his wrists together with his whip and flung him into the air. He grabbed Pitch again and slammed him onto the ground and into walls before he tossed him off the roof and he landed on the street.

"Remind me not to get on your bad side." Jack commented.

"Tell me about it." (Y/n) added.

The three floated down to the street where Pitch was.

"Okay, easy. You can't blame me for trying, Sandy." Pitch pleaded, as he backed away. "You don't know what it's like to be weak and hated." He stood up and looked over at (Y/n). "I'm sorry I tried to make you join me all those years ago, (Y/n), and it was stupid of me to mess with your dreams Sandy. So, I'll tell you what." He smiled maliciously. "You can have them back."

The three were suddenly surrounded by hundreds of Nightmares. Jack moved closer to (Y/n) trying to protect her. She raised her how and pointed it at the Nightmares.

"You take the ones on the left, we'll take the ones on the right?" Jack suggested to Sandy.

Pitch rode up front on one of his Nightmares. "Boo." He said.

The Nightmares charged at the three and they all started fighting. Suddenly, North's sleigh appeared, but North, Bunny, and Tooth were still kind of sleepy, and didn't have the best control over the sleigh.

Sandy created a platform and scooped Jack and (Y/n) onto it and they all rose up into the air, the Nightmares following them.

Jack and (Y/n) were back to back, and Jack was hitting the Nightmares with his staff while (Y/n) fired her bow.
