9: Lasing si heneral!

The two returned back to Vivie's residence.

Vivie sat on the bed then looked at Moni who's face was full of smiles, she then asked, "What are you still doing here?"

"Oh? Me? Gusto ko lang tumambay kasama sayo."

Pagkatapos ng maikling sandali, sinabi ni Vivie, "Paano yung lalaki kanina? Siguro hinahanap ka ng iyon."

"Lalaki?" umisip ng maigi si Moni at nagsalita, "Si Johan? Bakit?"

Vivie looked away and said, "Wala."

Umupo si Moni sa tabi ni Vivie sa taas ng igahan.

Uminom ng tubig si Vivie at nagsalita si Moni, "Kanina, nag-confess siya saakin-"

Vivie choked on her water and almost spit it out, but of course, almost, so no spit came out.

"Cough, cough!"

"General! Ayos ka lang!?" Moni asked worriedly.

Vivie pushed her away, "Wala nga!"

Pero sa totoo, hindi lang nagulat si Vivie sa sinabi ni Moni, pero yung ininom niya ay may mapait na lasa.

Dahil sa palagi niyang seryosong ugali, hindi niya ito sinabi.

Out of frustration from what Moni said, she drank the whole cup, she doesn't even know why is she pissed.

"What's with the temper today..." Moni scoffed. "I rejected him, okay!?"

"You...what?" Vivie's voice was a bit hoarse.

Moni's eyes widened, but not out of happiness, but because she was shocked, she had never received a confession before.

She was just a loner in her previous life, no one talked to her, so no one confessed to her, then this was her first.

But unlike what she expected, this isn't like anything how she imagined it would be like, for some reason, her heart feels like it's already full, that there's no space for another.

Aaminin niya naman, gwapo, malakas, at masayahin pa naman ang lalaking ito, ang klase na kinahuhulogan ng mga babae.

Pero puno na ang puso niya, at sa sandali na ito, natandaan niya si Vivie.

Pag kasama niya si Vivie, doon kung saan siya ay pinakamasaya, pag nandoon si Vivie, halos nakakalimutan na niya ang ibang mga problema.

Wala na siyang oras sa iba, she just wants to spend all her time taking care and watching for Vivie.

"Pasensya na, pero hindi ko kayang ibalik ang feelings mo sayo." sabi ni Moni.

When Johan heard this, he was slightly stunned but then nodded and smile. "That's alright."

"And besides, don't you like someone else already?

"Huh?" nanlaki ang mga mata ni Johan, at agad rin siya tumingin sa ibabaw at ngumiti ng maliit. "You're right..."

He continued, "To be honest, I like your friend, Cleo." he smile. "I even confessed to her once, but she rejected me, this is my me getting rejected two times in a row, what luck.

Habang sinasabi niya ito, kinati niya ang kanyang ulo.

"Seriously, what's with you, how can you give up so easily." Moni walked besides Johan and crouched on the floor.

She continued, "For me, you should keep pursuing her, how can she have feelings for you if you're going to leave just like that!" Moni scolded. "And you can't even forget your feelings towards her too!"

"Really?" Vivie asked doubtfully.

"What do you mean 'really'? Its is really!" Moni exclaimed.

Sa oras na ito, nahihilo at nahihilo si Vivie, na parang umiikot ang mundo.

Right, what she drank earlier was really alcohol, this was her first time, she never drank before because it interrupts her practice.

And right, she's drunk, but she acted almost the same, who would realise it?

"I don't have time for another, I just want to spend my time with you."

Vivie's eyes looked everywhere out of panic and her face felt warm, "Nonsense!'

"Nonsense this, nonsense that, you just said the same thing from that old man earlier." Moni said.

Then after a while, Moni pat the bed, "Lay down."

"Ano?"

"I said, lay down, are you gonna sleep or not?" Moni grinned.

"..."

At humiga rin si Vivie, pumikit ang mata niya pero agad rin ito bumukas nang humiga rin si Moni sa tabi niya.

"Anong ginagawa mo!?"

"Matulog, ano pa ba?" paghiga ni Moni.

Inilahad niya ang kumot sa taas nila dalawa, ngayon, they're both under the same sheet.

Pero nang humiga na siya, doon na niya na-amoy, amoy ng alak.

Agad naman umupo si Moni, "Vivie!"

"..."

"Lasing ka!"

"No I'm not."

Moni cursed under her breathe and took out three fingers, "How many fingers am I holding?"

Tiningnan ni Vivie ang tatlong darili na ito nang maigi, na parang isang bagay ito na hindi pa niya nakita noon.

At pinalo niya ito.

"..."

Binalik ni Moni ang darili niya at agad naman ito napalo muli.

Sa oras na ito, binabalik ni Moni ang darili niya at si Vivie ay pinapalo niya nang paulit-ulit, at sa ganito, paikot-ikot ang ginagawa nila.

"Lasing ka nga talaga!"
